Where the fuck have you been, the Greek system has been under assault by various types of SJWs for probably five years now because of muh hazing, muh forced drinking by peer pressure, muh rape culture and muh toxic masculinity. It's mostly aimed at frats, but they have gone after sororities a bit too.

Counterpart to fraternities. There are two types of frats: like-minded guys that enjoy hanging out with each other, bond, and throw parties together; and douche bros that read TFM and act like they're at Bama no matter where their chapter is.

The first kind of fraternity is a great resource for guys. When I looked to switch jobs, I got four different interviews from people I knew through mine. Learned a ton of great stuff from the older guys as I matured as well.

Sororities exist so girls can fuck frat guys and get drunk. That is literally it. They're nice enough girls, but they're there to get fucked senseless freshman and sophomore year, slow down junior, and look for their Mrs degree to come from a frat guy with good prospects come senior year.

Most of the storied Greek organizations were formed pre-Civil War and were openly racist. Think WASPS. This is especially true down south. Jews generally aren't accepted into these organizations which is why they started their own orgs.

I can't tell you how pissed I was going to some "micro aggression" FSL (fraternity & sorority life) meeting with all the frats and sororities and sitting there for hours on a fucking Friday night when we should all be drunk and/or high.

Every single time a fraternity "raped" (and I mean that as in the guy and girl were both drunk) a girl, we had to have a rape discussion on what is right and wrong. Every. Single. Time.

In one year I had like 6 of those meetings on rape culture. Six.

One fraternity chapter at my college right now is FULL BLOWN SJW. When my college campus placed a bunch of flags that represented the 1000 new sexualities, the veteran's association on campus ripped them all out and got confronted by said frat.

They didn't do shit because veterans, but still. It's happening bruh.

Is for vets who use the GI bill to go to school or just like a community group that does charity for veteran associations? I've never heard of a college having this.

Both. Most GI Bill dependents never went to hang out with them due to shame (me) so it's mostly actual veterans who are 25+ years old who were actually enlisted.

Thats pretty neat, I was suppose to be in San Diego right now for USMC boot, but I ran into legal trouble. I hopfully will have it settled in March and I'm re-enlisting. Thanks for the info i'll keep that in mind if I ever make it back into the service and want to go to school.

I did greek life in college, it was a good way to meet people, there are some cult elements because they come from the tradition of secret societies. The endgame is usually to get drunk and party.

The Veterans Association on campus are for any veterans who go to college. They have counselors and advisors specifically for veterans. It's also a place for them just to hang out and be around their own kind sometimes, the one on my campus get together to go out shooting outside of class time.

They do help veterans outside of the campus sometimes like doing charities, hosting events, we just did a coat drive too.

Also it's for helping some veterans that come there with brain injuries or other injuries and helping them integrate.

I work for them and they're some really good guys. They pretty much just look out for each other but they come and go, it's more like a club and not a fraternity.

Yea I dont know what college this dude goes to if one at all, i've never been but every friend I have that is talks about how they just get blackout piss drunk and fuck any dude that talks to them.

This is only true at a Christian college where they actually force everyone to join frats and sororities. Those ones are actually the good ones where they all practice Jeeeesssuuzzzz, traditionalism, and abstain from sex until marriage.

Those same colleges however basically segregate men from women and if you're caught even hugging you're expelled. Like Liberty college.

Except absolutely none of them are actual frats or sororities since none of them belong to their respective council / committee / organization.

I went to uiuc I think I understand frats perfectly well. They basically segregate whites together. Granted if you fit frat culture you would do well as black too. Its true Greek is not very racist at least in midwest these days. Down south it is a bit different.
