>I've seen things you people wouldn't believe >Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. >I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time like tears in rain.
I remember getting a severe existential crisis over that scene. Perfect. I could hardly think of a better scene, or one that could give half the emotion in it.
That scene from the extended unrated version of A Christmas Story where Ralphies mom tells the Dad to "Show mummy how the piggies eat my pussy" is my favorite movie scene of all time.
Pic related.

Is that Kratos? When is God of War movie coming to theaters?
-Different tones for X-Wing and Y-Wing engines -Ground crews doing last minute touchups/pilots hurrying the fuck up -Smooth as fuck cuts -Each cut has the engine pitch increase but still keeps the unique tone for X-Wing/Y-Wings
Absolutely flawless sequence, my personal favourite.
Benjamin Cooper
Blade Runner. Movie is ok tier, but book is great. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Dick
Joshua Scott
Didn't he make that up or substantially re-interpret what was on the page?
Leo Sanchez
>511972▶ >What the new one be ruined by tropey SJW shit? Sicario is pretty based, it's about the government doing whatever the fuck they want and the lead realizing she ain't shit.
Juan Perez
Wasn't bait. Thank you
Nicholas Rodriguez
It's one of those movies Hollywood would make if the Nazis had won.
Mason Young
The actor found the original line too sci-fi ey and changed it without anyone's knowledge the day before recording.
Sentiment is the same but Rutger's version is more poetic to be sure
>I have known adventures, seen places you >people will never see, I've been Offworld and >back...frontiers! I've stood on the back deck of a >blinker bound for the Plutition Camps with >sweat in my eyes watching the stars fight on the >shoulder of Orion. I've felt wind in my hair, riding >test boats off the black galaxies and seen an >attack fleet burn like a match and disappear. >I've seen it...felt it!
Charles Long
Prisoners is quite nice in case you haven't seen it
Incendies is a bit cucked but still an interesting, well crafted movie
Nicholas Roberts
Definitely like his version better. What a perfect set of lines, honestly.
Owen Bell
He made this up, it has nothing to do with the book or the film, Rutger basically just said 'this sounds cool, can we use it?' And Scott let him.
Xavier Thompson
>banana boat titties
Absolutely disgusting

Blade runner was actually a bad movie. Thematically it was all over the place. It didn't know if it wanted to be a blockbuster futuristic cops and robbers film or delve into complicated ethical questions surrounding AI as well as the cop who hunts them (Harrison Fords part). In fact Dustin Hoffman was originally offered the role but turned it down because of the thematic issues I'm describing.
The roof-top scene you've linked ("Time... to die") and the opening scene where the android is being cross examined are the two best scenes in the movie. Otherwise it is rather scattered and at parts confusing and random.
However the sound track was groundbreaking and the cinematography is glorious in parts. The actual world Scott created was imaginative and beautiful in its own way. But as a movie itself it isn't that good.
6/10 tops for me. The remake might be good but I didn't like Cicero or whatever movie that director did who is going to direct the new blade runner. Needless to say I don't have high hopes for it
Jayden Jackson
This is trash compared to Rutger's improv. Thank fuck he changed it.
I listen to the Vangelis soundtrack about 3 or 4 times a week lol
Caleb Brooks
yes, the original version with harrison ford's voice over is quite bad, but the final cut is put togehter quite nicely
totally agree on the soundtrack, cinematography and world
