Grew up in Memphis and they literally moved the Best Buy and other shopping stores a couple of miles down the road to get out of the newly created hood.
Was a mall called Hickory Ridge Mall that went to utter shit in just a couple of years. Same for an older Mall of Memphis which is non existent now.
