I smoked weed daily for a very long time, and it has taken its affect on me. Before I quit I was experiencing severe delusions and paranoia (which I still get episodes of), but as mentioned, I have quit. The urge to smoke still arises occasionally since I am around people who do, but I have enough willpower to not relapse.

Weed definitely can trigger the onset of psychosis/schizophrenia in people that already are predisposed to it, but smoking weed won't cause those things just out of the blue.
I think its something like 1% of the population develops schizophrenia and 1.5% of people that smoke weed regularly develop it. So smoking increases your chances by about 50%.
As far as anxiety/depression, that depends more on your life circumstances. Weed used to make me euphoric but now I become anxious and have paranoia about my body easily when I smoke because I'm not in the best place in my life right now just financially/family/happiness.
