Rome was a massive, multiethnic empire and made it work for centuries, but once the core of Roman civilization, the army, was swamped and weakened by Germans, the empire was lost in the west. Britons, loyal to the Roman Empire are completely wiped out by waves of Picts, Angles, Jutes and Saxon migrants. The only reason we even know of Britons is because of a letter begging for Rome to send assistance.
There aren't that many examples because either the conquerors were filthy and uncivilized and would not have developed the ability to record such events or the conquest is so complete that any records are completely wiped out.
