Has a hint as to who did it. Rich was a Sanders supporter who had insider access to the DNC's network. It could be that he had a hint of what was going on and decided to help leak it all. It doesn't help the DNCs case that later email showed how the plotted to keep Sanders from being the nominee since the very beginning.

A better question is, is the information published by wikileaks credible? Than, what are the implication of the information in the leaks if they are true. Sadly, or deservingly, no one will do your thinking for you. You either read some leaks and decide for yourself or you must have faith in someone else judgement over your own.
