Didnt know there was a difference but i do agree with you on the being owned by the mob part. Unions just protect the upper managment of said union. The stories i was told by some ex union guys.

they've destroyed every industry they infest.
Here's an idea, if workers want to make the decisions, they can pool their money and start their own company. Workers are paid to work, they don't control the company.
