Millenials are basically divided into two groups: the fortunate and the unfortunate.
The fortunate are the sheltered little faggots who grew up in upper or upper middle class homes, have never worked a day in their lives, and went to college for some namby pamby liberal arts degree like gender studies or underwater basket weaving. They've been babied all their lives and have been shielded from all of the realities of life and are now completely incapable of taking care of themselves in any realistic sense of the word, but it doesn't really matter to them because they come from an upbringing that ensures them a comfortable safety net.
The unfortunate are those who grew up in lower or lower middle class homes and grew up having a very real sense of what you need to do and be willing to do to make a living and provide for you and your family. Most either have no college education or went for practical degrees. They didn't grow up in a sheltered safe space and they're more than capable of taking care of themselves, but they're all now facing the reality that they've been more or less abandoned and fucked over by their parents' and grandparents' generations.
So, in short, Millenials are completely fucked. Half can't take care of themselves, and the half that can have been condemned to live lives of debt and servitude in order to pay for all the mistakes of past generations.
It feels like the only chance of actually getting ahead now is to be your own boss, otherwise look forward to shit pay, long hours, and no recognition.

I spent a lot of time on a computer practicing my subset of skills and was basically ready to enter the workforce before I graduated highschool. The most important thing is to learn a skill that can not easily be replaced by dirty 3rdworlders. This is usually management or things involving proprietary/sensitive information.
If you plan to work from home you need the drive in addition to the abilities. I know a lot of smart people in this industry who I wouldnt trust at home as they would just jerk off all day and post on Sup Forums.

High school students are LITERALLY never told this. I mean that literally, they're actually never told that. And even if you're not making payments on your student loans (not all loans are like that, by the way), the interest still accrues and fucks you over when you finally do start making decent money.
You CANNOT wait to work your way up the ladder if you just blew 4-5 productive years and $100k on a degree and now you've got 6% interest stacking up.
I grew up in the first category, im a nurse practioner now with my own business on the side, am married, have 6 kids, my own house and beach house. And my mom was a chemist that only worked part time so she could raise me and my brothers and sisters. I think people just need to know what discipline is in order to be succesful in life. Having a strong father figure makes that happen which a lot of people i see around me lack.
