I say whatever the fuck I want and respond however the fuck I want. Then at the very end I say "unquote". Am I really liable for anything I said in a court of law? I was quoting something else. Would this be grounds to a re-trial?

A) if you had an attorney they would probably tell you not to do that and eventually cut you off as a client if you kept trying to use that
B) if you were representing yourself, the prosecutor/other attorney is going to object the shit out of that calling it "hearsay". the judge would sustain that objections.
C) if you kept doing it, the judge would remove your ass from the courtroom and possibly slap you with contempt.
D) the only chance you would have to use this would be at a court/jury trial. in which case, in america (at least my state), you have to disclose EVERYTHING you have that you intend to use at trial. if you disclose that, the other attorney would lodge a motion to suppress that shit and you couldn't use it. if you try to use it anyways or you don't disclose it, see point B.
