Admittedly I built my first PC when I was 15, but it takes so little to do it. Things are labeled on the motherboard and it's easy as fuck to get instructions for putting it together. There's only one place anything can go besides ram so it's basically just a puzzle if you have absolutely no clue what you're doing.

The only reason I didn't build my computer at 11 was because I wasn't a rich fag like in the article and I had to work in order to buy my computer.
