You need to try isochronic user. Binaural is produced by two separate tones one in each ear merging in your brain. Isochronic produces one tone outside your body which your brain can latch on to.

while I'm sure their methods are about as viable as a cherokee tampon, they aren't exactly wrong. audio stimuli, based on pitch, rhythm, perception, etc. drastically affect your mental state, alertness, perception of your environment, etc. There's even a small inaudible range that causes feelings of dread and hallucinations, which can be given off by vibrating pipes in old buildings.
binaural beats are bullshit though, largely random noises strung together or in some cases well known calming tones with no natural warmth and a fancy name. you're better off listening to a soothing sounds of the forest tape from the 80's

They do not require stereo headphones. There is no mixing of two frequencies by your brain ie 440 and 448 to get 8hz for binaural . Instead the audio pulses at whatever frequency ie 8hz with isochronic. I haven't read those books will look into.
