The issue is that, well, there's a bunch of other mistakes as well. For starters, there's the argument the ethnic cleansing occurred in the Chechen wars. That's incorrect, the Chechenian christians were actually move by the soviets because the soviets are douches. Keep in mind the Chechen did, in fact, kill the remaining armenians, but the fuckers who started and did most of it were the Soviets.
Second, Chechenia has been a restricted access area for decades now, and you similarly can't enter about 23 different other oblasts, so that's not special either.
And it goes on.
Do note however that Russia is a shithole, and the general spirit of what he's saying is right, even if his facts and examples are shit.

As far as i know, yes, but good luck getting anyone to approve any of your legal documents to be able to move from your particular hole. Because that's the other thing, in order to stay in these restricted oblast you need to register, and that registration will mark you forever.
