tldr: Podesta got phished by an actor with systems linked to Russian cyber ops. I work in IT and can confirm this but I want to add me and most other IT professionals hate this shit but we know if we don't make exceptions for the management we could lose our jobs to the tune of "I need someone who makes technology easier to use, not more complicated." They haven't even said WHAT the hack was specifically, or if it in any way could have resulted in illegal influence of voting. If it's only talking about the emails and the DNC leak, then they have no case even if Russia DID do it.
