I think I finally know what they're talking about when they say being gay isn't a choice. They're not saying they're just naturally that way, or even that they've been cursed with some genetic condition. Nobody would choose do live as a faggot. Even coming out can drive your family and all of your friends away and make you a straight up social pariah. Nobody in their right mind would choose to forgo their biological imperative to procreate and further their genetic lineage. That's the thing, they aren't in their right mind. Something that just about every single homosexual individual has in common is some sort of sexual abuse at the hands of another man in their childhood. The memory of this traumatic experience gets repressed and they try to go on living as though it never happened. It did though, and it's not something that can just be forgotten. All the pain and agony of having been forcefully made another man's fuck toy completely obliterates a young boy's psyche. It creates scars that run so deep that any thing that evokes the memory gets pushed out of his mind. As time goes on though, and he starts to look for new increasingly more intense ways of making the pain go away he does the only thing he can. He learns to take pleasure in from the memory. He begins to fetishize the pain and sense of deep sense of disgust associated with it. Once he starts doing this it's already too late. He's become a faggot.
