The thing is that the average Swede is quite well-off and comfortable. Immigration mostly only affects the lower classes, who have no political voice. But also, let's not pretend that the mudslimes are some completely unmanagable problem. With the right political will, we could turn back time and return to the good old days in a year, max. I don't understand this line of thought. They're already in your country and in many many cases are naturalised or very close to being naturalised. What can you do? We already see many cases of attempted deportation of non citizens to countries that refuse to accept them, then we just take them back.

I'm not anti-immigration, but I do believe that Sweden has taken it too far. I would suggest trying to win over people by supporting foreign policy that makes their countries better to live in, not bringing them to Sweden. Say that the reason there is war in Syria is because Obama armed rebels and encouraged them to fight, making it unlivable for normal people. Say that bringing in refugees does nothing to fix the problems that brought them there in the first place. Put the blame on Saudi Arabia, Russia, and the US, where it belongs, and demand that the government try the speak out for peace for these people.
