But that's what most of the investigations entailed. Did you watch them? The weeks of requests of increased security denied or ignored by Hillary's Department. The complete and utter ignoring of any help. The utter lack of security of our consulate, deaths of 4 Americans including our Ambassador.

I suppose you have a point there, there were some hearings where they focused on her reactions instead of pro actions. I won't deny that. But it can't hurt to grill for the most information possible to make the most educated judgements possible and best course of action going forward to learn from it. I think we both can agree, as long as we investigate what happened BEFOREHAND and LEADING UP to the attacks, which they did a good job of investigating imo.

I think the media really blew it out of proportions how much they investigated Benghazi. I think an attack of that caliber required quite a bit of questioning and investigations. 4 Americans died, we need to know what we did wrong to make sure that never happens again. All partisan and good guy/bad guy shit aside, we need to figure out what happened and where we slipped up to make sure that never happens again. And I think the Benghazi investigations aimed to do that. Sure, there might have been some witch hunting here and there, but as Secretary (head of) the Department of State, you need to take responsibility for things that happen underneath you. That's part of the job. It happens with everyone in any important position. You are responsible for those underneath you. That's my opinion anyway.
