It seems like 75% of Sup Forums users are either indifferent to it or dislike it. It seems like there is only a minority of posters (albeit they are heavy posters) that make and post anime shit. Even based Japanese posters tend not to be Otaku.
I'm making this thread to see the general response on various Sup Forums user's opinions of anime.
I personally see it as childish and odd for any adult to want to watch let alone post memes of it.

It doesn't feel wrong, Sup Forums is really about pumping your emotional state and changing your beliefs about yourself and the world. There are things about anime that don't fit into Sup Forums's psychological programming that causes some to shun.
There are positive aspects, there's a lot of anime without poz, and it tends to be uplifting. But socially it's fucking weird and Sup Forums aims to equip it's users with a pro-social way of thinking and anime doesn't click with that.
I don't watch anime and I don't think people should but it does things for good people who are my friends and I don't like to see them denigrated.
