Guys how is Alberta doing? Is it good idea to move there?
I prefer snow because the cold keeps away the darkies.

I want to read more about the financial doom. I got family there on Canada working on a bank, might as well give them a call.

Should we roll for the collapse? I've been honestly watching and waiting for 3 years now.

i hope that smart financial dude comes here

his posts are honestly intriguing

also i recommend greaterfool.ca

great blog by former mp Garth Turner

I read it everyday.

where's the best place to move in canada as a 22 year old autist who hates people and only wants to lift weights all day with a english degree from queens

i grew up on vancouver island, i want to go back but i feel like there's no work

George Soros and the Canadian agenda

youtu.be/9aETpLQ7WcM

Fuck off. If you don't have a job just apply to Tim's. Always hiring you're all just lazy sacks of shit

>Guys how is Alberta doing?

Unemployment is like 10% Officially, that doesn't include contractors and self employed tradespeople people

> I got family there on Canada working on a bank,

every fucking foreigner does

while canadians are out of work

that's the fucking problem

We're still fucked, but very slowly improving.

Some geniuses thought it was a good idea to punish the reigning PC party by voting in the trendy (at the time) NDP.

It's the functional equivalent of Alberta electing to get a tramp stamp for a provincial government.

No. The parasites that showed up since 2009 are killing themselves in record numbers and fleeing back to their shitholes. Those of us whose roots go deep are doing fine.

Not so good right now, user. I'd wait.

they only hire TFWs now

Also, I saw someone on Sup Forums post a thread that the government is now seizing wills of high value.

Any sauce on this? Or just mocking the case where a judge denied that guys will being a scholoarship for white males. Also truly fucked up. The state can decide what they do with "your" money after death.

ah Canada... my new homeland in april

>self employed transpeople people

Mate, they've been there for 10 years and were already rich when they got there... I'm no chink.

Quebec leaves
East of Quebec becomes their own country
Sask to Ont become their own country
Alb takes BC to become Albertastan
China and USA war for south BC
Russia takes the north

Tim Hortons Bank is hiring. Stop being lazy and get a job that doesn't exist moran.
>sarcasm, obviously

First Burger Best Burger

>war for Vancouver

We don't want it

Not really good... Carbon Tax is being implemented tomorrow I believe.

>leaf

pls take it senpai

We got the country we deserved, the masses of degenerates and dude weeders caused this as well as the neo-con chink shills.

This guy is great.

pretty sure that was just a shitpost mate

That's actually not a shill thread, from my understanding.
Sit back a while and bring popcorn, leafs are crying.

Not good. Last year has been very rough all around, and we're implementing the carbon tax now, so I'd expect things to get worse.

Hey buddy, haven't seen you in a while. Hope you had a good holiday.

Also all of the Nam-Draft Dodgers.

Sorry, bud

Where should i put my saving if i don't know shit about stocks? HISA is starting to seem like a bad idea.

That surely will effect small businesses right?
Just what the flying fuck is the government doing when economy is this bad?

What do you think about the coming minimum wage raise? Seems like another kill on businesses.

fuck off we're full

Let's hope. My grand father is supposedly worth a lot of money and all my dad ever told me was not to try for anything cause one day he will die and I will inherit lots.
I think it might have been a ruse so I end up a failure. I don't think I will be willed any amount. He sure as fuck isn't dying anytime soon either. 10 years easy still on him and he's in his 80s

VUN.TO

>tfw work in cannabis industry and make tax free leafbux

The Carbon tax is bullshit to squeeze money out of us and spend it on "green energy" which surely they wont.

Where are you going to find work anywhere with an english degree? Fuck just leave and teach in china or something

>tfw my town owns its own hydroelectric facility but says they need to raise the rates anyway to promote responsible use

>tfw carbon tax on top of this

>tfw can't buy imported food anymore because our dollar is worthless

>leaf

Same here in Australia with our two biggest capital cities.

Has the share market in Canada had much growth or not?

Ours in Australia has been relatively stagnant as real estate/investment properties has been incentivezed so much, there's a huge cultural issue here as well with real estate having such a strong history of JUST SAVE FOR A DEPOSIT AND TAKE OUT A MORTGAGE BRO being the standard line of financial advise you hear from family members for ages now

We have even higher consumer debt than you guys, ours is the highest in the world

how is it tax free?

Tax free? Like you're a drug dealer?

ahahah no. Carbon tax is going into general revenue, which means its actually being used to give government employees 8% raises YOY for the next 3 years

>I think it might have been a ruse so I end up a failure.
kek. I imagine a lot people are looking forwards to inheritances at this point. My granny has a house in toronto 'worth' 2mil~ apparently

u shouldnt be allowed to use the same image twice

You will tire, we had 350 posts last thread.

Let the hard times come. I am purposeless and nihilistic.

Burger here, what's wrong with Alberta? I always pictured it as BC but with less chinks

good thing healthcare is universal and will keep them alive and sucking up resources well into their 90s

>You will tire

leafs sustain him

the quality is shit so dont count on it

We overracted to a guy telling a woman math is hard and elected a socialist who has dismantled 50 years of relative stability in 2.

gold
I know that's a meme but there's a nasty fucking reckoning coming with the low interest debt trap (and particularly for leaves like you with your housing bubble) and stocks, property, and banks are all unsafe. Invest in things that don't go poof and make you a beggar overnight.

Find a solid long-term mutual fund and put some there; stocks are risky in the short-term but safer in the long-run, and a mutual fund protects you from the risk of one component stock tanking/failing.

Put some more in a stable treasury security; the yield on US debt will likely increase soon, and it's generally still stable.

Gold is a meme, but it's an older meme, and it checks out. Consider grabbing some of that (physical gold, mind you). It's nice because gold tends to do well when everything else doesn't.

seriously that fat fuck dan cocks needs a new intro to his videos

>tfw no 3rd Century Greco-Egyptian gf

Why do no Canadian actors who get famous stay in Canadian Cinema?

>VUN.TO
wow. Can you redpill me some more on it? Will it continue to rise?

...

He's got properties and land. Sold a ton of land to developers.
Who knows........he also, sure as fuck doesn't act rich. Too humble or country bumpkin, one of the two LOL
Knowing my selfish boomer parents, they probably won't give any of what my mom gets to us kids. She didn't when she got 100,000 when granddad sold a couple acres to a Benz dealership.

I can't wait for the housing bubble to burst. So much baby boomer butthurt! So much Ching Chong butthurt!

We elected a woman who probably uses her Econ 101 textbook to prop up her desk

Mayor of Calgary is a Mudslime, like London

...

If you're so sure about gold then invest in gold miners instead of gold itself, they have more leverage giving you greater returns if gold goes up and less storage cost issues/chances of it being stolen

Vancouver is perfect for you. You may end up scoring some asian pussy while you're at it. Buy an apartment if you can, mortgage comes out to be cheaper than rent after all since the goyims don't want leafs to own land.

I would never make a prediction.

Its the Canadian index for the US stock exchange. When the US goes up, it goes up. If you think the US will outperform Canada, its one of the safer places to put your money.

Or VXC.TO

True

My point is less about gold specifically and more just warning him away from putting his money in stocks, savings, property, anything with paper value that's getting ready to turn into confetti.

Should i buy USD with my savings? Bitecoin maybe?
If so how much?

Another Muslim en route. Cause we need more of (((them))) right? Allah Snackbar.

Please don't bankrupt naive people by telling them to invest in JNUG.

It's also to promote use of nuclear power, run by the Power Corp/Liberal Party energy consortium.

I want there to be a real housing crash, but there won't be, at least, not as spectacular as the US one.

For one, the Canadian banks aren't lending money to people of the same low credit-worthiness that the US banks were. There are no $500k mortgages being handed out to people with no incomes, with nothing down, etc.

Also, the job market isn't really getting worse, it's kinda bad and has stayed that way for a long time and despite that, the house prices rise. If anything I could see the house prices stop going up as fast and perhaps flat line for a while, if we're lucky we will get a 20% correction. The most likely scenario is there are a lot of houses going onto the market when interest rates rise and people who borrowed too much get squeezed out. It won't cause a crash, but prices will have to adjust down to the increased supply.

4-5 years ago I was working in Toronto with tons of money, ready to buy a house, and PRAYING for a crash, I read every clickbait housing crash doomsday article I could find, wanting it to be true, but it never happened, and it's not going to happen.

You're an idiot

>tfw I loved this country growing up (before multi culti was completely full blown)
>not I loathe it everyday

I'm at the point, from personal experience, where the only foreigners I like are Korean and Japs and even then some Koreans still piss me off. But man, living in this country my entire life has created a vast fucking hatred for chinks, mudslimes and poo in loos (ALL KINDS FUCK OFF SIKHS)

good

We got complacent (because people were actually doing ok for a decade) and our government fucked us for it. We used to have a nice big fat rainy day fund for when shit hit the fan, and a series of corrupt governments whittled it down to practically nothing. Then, for a change of pace, we elected the most left wing nuts we could find (which aren't quite as bad as left wing nuts elsewhere in the country, but still) who blew through the last of our cash like .22LR through a box of kleenex, and in just a couple years we're going to be sunk back deep again.

Also the Ft. Mac fire came at the worst possible time

houses are cheap as shit in thunder bay

You are still in Kingston?

Self-publish on Amazon and you can live anywhere. Takes a bit of research to know the basics, but if you can write 5k/day you are golden.

...

We have a government? Thats news to me leaf. Last I checked we still pay taxes to the Queen of fucking England...

even my friends from my graduating class with stem degrees are having trouble finding work. just because i fell for the humanities meme doesn't mean i'm moving to fucking china though

that's probably where i'll end up. thanks for the feedback fellow leaf

>buying anything right now

Please leave, Chinese real estate shill.

at the moment, yes, but i'm leaving soon. i'll look into that, thanks

There is simply no benefit to doing so. Even the ones that love Canada and want to make it work usually leave eventually because there's so little opportunity or innovation for new media.

do u regret not buying then? i guess u would have made a lot of money. what 15% avg annual over the last 5 years?

that's cause it's thunder bay

35,000 refugees cost us 385 million
We're bumping it up to 60,000 refugees for 2017

So I just doubled it.

Foreign national aide, we spend 0.28% of our gross national income - or roughly 41.9 billion per year. Trudeau has already pledged 785 million for fighting HIV/TB etc. In 2015 we pledged 150 million for climate funds for renewable energy. We've also pledged 309 million to the African development bank. Thats already ready 1.2 billion. Figure a few more things would pop up and guessed 2 billion.

40 years of glorious a conservative dynasty and financial prosperity thanks to oil were destroyed thanks to transeant eastern socialists voting in a communist feminist to lead the province then ditched when her policies crashed an already volatile oil industry. People killing themselves at record rates. Jobs are gone. Carbon Tax coming.

Other than that it's pretty great.

hows the internet?

Prep for the fall of Canadian society. Rather than try to fight it, or be afraid of it, lets set up a /po/ nation state near the oil and forestry.

we're the jews now.

>he fell for the thunder bay is shit meme

fiber no cap

> No chink

> Rich when they got there

Nice try Chinkzilian

Why would stocks plummet?
Or would it be Canadian business stocks specifically?

I could still buy, let's say, Honda stocks if I were so inclined without shooting myself in the foot (using Honda purely as an example of international busines and not as a necessarily sound investment)

Check out Garth Turner's blog

greaterfool.ca

He keeps tabs on the Canadian housing market better than most

He's an ex minister of finance so he does know a little about what he talks about.

you are aware that the US is in a giant spec bubble right now? 20K DOW j with nothing supporting it. 2017 will be a big market correction.
