Most Mohammedans in Turkey are simply culturally Muslim. It's easy to convert these types of people. Personally I already know two young families that have secretly converted to Roman Catholicism.
Also, the '98% Islamic' statistic is bullshit. There's many Christians that are still identified as Islamic on their ID cards. Why? They would face persecution from their families and would be discriminated against by the government.
