True, I don't know why he did it, he seemed really uniformed and clueless, but to be fair the guy he debates was no insane nut job, but an engineer. The problem was Molyneux wasn't even aware that UFO unidentifed flying object dosen't equal aliens and most offical sky saftey organisations would never deny the existence of unidentifed flying objects in other words radar and visual contacts, which can't be explanied by authorised flight movements. Molyneux said that highly developed aliens would be benevolent and only come here to trade with us, so basiclly they would be libertarians.
