Soon, telecom companies will know your true power level and sell that information to your employers.
>The rules, which passed by a 3-to-2 partisan vote favoring Democrats at the Federal Communications Commission in October, are meant to keep Internet providers such as Comcast, Verizon and others from abusing the behavioral data they collect on customers as they regularly use the Internet. >Information such as your Web browsing history, your geolocation logs and even the content of your emails offer service providers a rich source of potential advertising revenue. That data, along with your health and financial information, can also be sold to marketers and data brokers interested in building a profile of you as a consumer. The FCC's rules restricted Internet providers' ability to use and share this information, in what privacy advocates hailed as a historic victory. >But now the fate of those regulations lies in question as Republicans prepare to take control of the nation's top telecom watchdog.
Once this is implemented everyone will buy a device in their homes that just browses millions of random sites when no one is using the internet.
Josiah Gray
why? this is like a childs fantasy. you dont understand how serious this is.
i mean honestly it was coming either way and hillary would have done the same, it just makes me sad.
Leo Young
Lol, they all thought Hillary was going to get this but Trump's going to inherit it instead.
>"Just been going over Jeb's browser history, cuckholding, guac bowls and spanish lessons, SAD!"
Nathan Price
That's not gonna work. This will make is safer so shut the fuck up whiny little bitch.
You got what you wanted.
Ian Green
>tfw I spend more than half of my time on the internet watching porn >tfw 90% of said porn is interracial >tfw 60% of said interracial is gay literally end my life if any of my porn browsing info is leaked

This is what VPNs are for.
Luke Walker
You can't remove data pre-use of VPN though
They'll still get you from when you were 11-14 and didn't know better
They shouldn't be allowed to just store history full stop
Landon Smith

Open VPN. Turn on DNS leak protection. Click connect.
James Watson
Can you even imagine the civil suits that would arise from people having their private shit leaked by telcos? It'd be a lawyer's wet dream.
Jaxson Scott
This
I remember how the first time when Google's datamining became widely-known some guy came up with an addon that searched for random bullshit while you had your browser open to generate noise and make your real searches indistinguishable
Brandon Wilson
What VPN do you use?
Jace Bell
Well that is what they are proposing here. Become a political opposition later but used to browse Sup Forums and other wayciss sites? People will pay to get your browsing history to use against you. All they need to do is search by website or keyword
Sup Forums, nazi, hitler, nigger, hentai, loli - without a VPN they will get easy hits from this website alone
That's the real reason they want to put this into practice. Datamining to sell you things barely works, people just ignore ads even if they don't have ad blocker
Carter Price
Nobody gives a shit what losers think. The only reason i'm here is because I want to become a behavioral scientist.
Joshua Hill
And yet Sup Forums frequently crops up in lists of boogiemen, it's memes are used internet wide and it influences opinions on twitter
You'll make for a pretty shitty behavioural scientist, observation is key in the sciences, fat fuck
Daniel Sanchez
True, and vpns will be dog slow or maybe even forbidden ( won't route packets to/from known vpn ip ) when they get rid of net neutrality.
This is shit of course.
However it will probably backfire at first normalizing all this. Eventually it will have an awful chilling effect.
Leo Lee
Been thinking about using a VPN, anyone have any recommendations or general advice?
Hudson Hall
All the top ones can be googled, then it just depends on cost vs features
Cooper Mitchell
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Being on an internet message board geared to a specific demographic is like looking into the subconscious of said demographic. Being on here is like being on r/asianmasculinity or r/blackladies, I get to see all of your penis envy.
I don't think you understand how powerful a tool like this is. This is a whole new area of academic inquiry wrought with opportunity for sociologists and anthropologists.
If I actually talked to you in real life I would destroy your self esteem.
Cameron Young
Maybe this is a wake up call for you damn degenerate.
James Walker
Those places don't get mentioned on MSM ;)

Seems risky, unless you program it yourself, or compile open source code.

Rent a server and do it yourself. kimsufi.com/en/servers.xml Even cheapest will do the job, for example, I'm using a lowendspirit 3eur/year box. Also you'll be able to torrent at cosmic speeds.
Ryan Harris
give more deets on how you do this

Maybe you should just stop watching gay interracial porn?
Jordan Smith
If you've got nothing to hide then don't be worried :^)
Lincoln Hughes
Day of the rope seems to be fast approaching. You might want to end it all now, I guarantee it won't be quick and easy if someone from Sup Forums finds you.
Caleb Nelson
Here's an installer script and manual: github.com/Nyr/openvpn-install You'll need some basic Linux knowledge (how to connect to your box and transfer files). After installation and adding clients just copy .ovpn files to your PC's OpenVPN config directory and run it.
Thanks for the help. The the EU breathing down our necks these days It's time to VPN up before I get disappeared for owning guns
Juan Perez
They want some wierd shit to let me buy a server
>> Proof of ID: ID card Driving Licence Passport Proof of address: Utility bill (Gas, electricity, phone) Bank statement Official correspondence
dont really want to give them any of that shit
Dominic Gray
The fact democrats still support it is what scares me...means they are confident that no matter how well Trump may do, eventually they plan to have power again and resume their plans in the long run.
Jaxon Gray
Would have to be a class action because nobody can afford to take on their top notch juice lawyer teams
kek, couldn't resist throwing that last little bit in, could you? You might've almost passed for someone with a brain instead of an asshurt mayfly desperately scrabbling for a way to lash out at the big ebil Sup Forumsacks.
Isaiah Cooper
This one seems nice. I think having a bit of local storage space would be nice. I would like to have all my torrents in the 'cloud' so i can avoid having a bunch of external hardrives like i do now. I assume with these VPS's I can run any scripts on the local OS I want? If so the prices for these things is crazy cheap.
Thanks for the tips
John Kelly
>They'll still get you from when you were 11-14 and didn't know better
This is bad, those were my Sup Forums years. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that the masses would be forgiving of stupid kid shit, but after this election, I've realized how god damned viscous people are. Fuck
Lucas Perry
>seems risky
Shut the fuck up
Christopher Martin
Yes, but disk space is too small. If you want to torrent on them, you're better go with a full-blown dedicated server with a big HDD.
Benjamin Thomas
I look at the prices for a big HDD but the prices are pretty high. In the range of 50/CHF for a 2TB drive which is pricey.
Logan Williams
It will be leaked.
These telcoms will gather and create registries which will be hacked like every major credit card company, Sony, or Ashley Madison. People will have their browsing habits exposed. That's assuming the landscape of the internet doesn't fundamentally change (shut down connections to certain 'degenerate' porn sites) when these companies decide which websites they want to privilege and how much they want to charge you to use services that don't help their bottom line first.
This is what happens when you elect a party and president to power who understand and favor money more than technology
Michael Turner
Kimsufi has the best price for dedicated servers, but they require ID now.
William Ramirez
Can I still browse the deep web safetly
Adrian Scott
Nope. They'll just make people sign agreements for their services that will not allow them to be held liable for outside infiltration.
Same way Sony got off when PSN was hacked years ago.
Hudson Davis
youve never been able to browse the deep web safely
Nolan Morales
YOU REEK OF DADDY ISSUES AND SELF LOATHING

corporate america: land of the free
ISPs own your browsing data, in which they spend money and invest time in logging your conversations and fetishes and finding other companies who can benefit/profit from said data, as well as just as any person who holds american freedom and liberty next to their heart, you should be imprisoned if your browsing habits confirm you are a sociopath or in some way prevent the wonderful state from maintaining this capitalist utopia..
how dare you prevent a american company from making money!
what are you? a fucking commie? your views are so un-american
Andrew Flores
you think Sup Forums years, in light of everything going on in the country, would be better how?
Benjamin Anderson
>try to run for president >they find my dickgirl, futa, and herm collections from when I was a wee lad
Alexander Sanchez
That's fine. All the people who grow our food are redpilled. Once they find out that leftists are all filling useless non-essential roles in the economy such as Baristas or Buzzfeed writers while red pilled people are the ones doing things people actually need like building houses, growing food, working in water treatment, sanitation etc they'll shit their pants and go full 14/88.
Michael Anderson
Let's hope you get cancer.
Easton Morales
I can at least be somewhat proud of my time spent on Sup Forums and the discoveries I've made here though, shit from back then makes me legit want to cleanse myself from the gene pool.
Benjamin Morales
Well peoples real searches are not random so if you have the tech you can find a pattern that lets you determine the likelihood of a real/random search but it depends on how much noise is being generated and the characteristics of the noise generation.
For example it's low probability that the 4 am searches are real. Now you just need to look at the 7 pm data and try and isolate the real traffic from the 4 am type data.
Nathaniel Kelly
Let's hope that when an ethno-state is built, we have plenty of competent normies willing to step up to the plate.
Isaac Smith
It'll be hard and fast.

> behavioral scientist Another useless fuck leeching on tax money
Samuel Martinez
Data mining to sell you things actually works pretty well. I have a buddy who works in online advertising for a Fortune 500 company and they do a good job of determining when you are ready to buy something and put ads in place for a product that suits those needs. They have your credit card data from the merchants you buy from, they have your online shopping data, they know your behavior patterns(stops at quick service restaurants m-f after work) and just bombard you with messages about the new Cheesy Gordita at Taco Bell.
It's really just to sell you more shit. They want money. They can't weave webs of international Jewry if they are broke.
Now that Obama is leaving office they may start using this tech to prevent terrorist attacks. His admin made it a point to oust anyone in law enforcement or intelligence that wanted to profile Muslims which completely crippled our ability to stop these people.
John Murphy
>all that shit I've googled because I didn't know what it was thank god I use VPN
Matthew Edwards
If they sneak into my backyard I'll show them things that will make them choke.
Have fun~!
Alexander Martinez
>employers haha, yeah, that sure would suck, right guys? haha...
Jacob Miller
Similar thing here, no? And it really seems like the "pay us or the EVUL RACISS STUFF YOU POSTED WILL BE MADE PUBLIC" business model will work very well here.
Justin Scott
Make sure if you do use a another one that it is located in Switzerland.
Luis Gutierrez
This will work and is already in use by people in tech. Honestly I have a server in my closet and Ill probably set this up soon.
James Hall
>This is what happens when you elect a party and president to power who understand and favor money more than technology
That is both parties user. We need to throw a fit so they noticed and dont let shit happen.
