Islam wants the believers to be benevolent, this is especially emphasized in shia islam more than in sunni islam. in war, you are only allowed to kill soldiers, this is taken from hadiths from the prophet himself, and widely accepted among muslims of sunni and shia faith.

You made a comment about embracing positive emotions. Is wanting to stone someone for committing adultery positive? Is beheading prisoners positive? How about wrapping explosive cord around their necks and setting it off. Is that positive?

Your religion has failed to progress past it's barbaric roots. Every other modern religion has progressed past the atrocities that your people commit.

Can someone prove to me that the angel that Muhammad encountered at Hira was actually Gabriel? I've never seen or heard of any methods that Muhammad used to test this spirit, and from what the traditions speak of, the angel actually manhandled Muhammad upon their first encounter, that doesn't sound like Gabriel at all, at least to me and what I've read in the Old and New Testaments.

We are told to test all spirits in John 4:1 and it's clear this was not observed, furthermore, Muslims do revere Christ as a prophet so they should respect this fact and use His authority to test every spirit.

Can you point me to some sources about the history and development of Hadith? I noticed when I read portions of the Quran it constantly states how the Quran is the final word of God and the final message, yet most aspects of the religion rely on Hadith. How accurate are the Hadith really?

i personally take hadiths with a grain of salt. many were made decades after the prophet's death. only hadiths that do NOT interfere with the quran are accepted. im shia so i dont know anything about sunni hadiths, and the shia process to following hadiths is pretty complicated, i'd advise you to research it on your own, but watch out with sources

It's really difficult to find good information to learn about Islam online because a lot of sites are either anti-Islam propaganda or pro-Salafist propaganda, with little room in-between. Even the official Quran used by Sunni Muslims and authorized by Saudi Arabia, which should be the best source to learn about Islam like how Vatican-authorized Bibles are pretty good, is politicized as fuck.
