For some events they let the camera run with no comments, so you get a good view of a protest or other things and get a better view than just edited footage with a narrative.

RT is what the BBC was in the 90's: mostly true except where is comes to certain subjects that simply don't get airtime.
As such RT is one of the better news agencies broadcasting today. It's not great by any measure of news, but it's the least tainted by globalism for the moment.
