I, along with most people on this planet, don't want to share a nation with people who I have no similarity to. It would also give all the power in the world to a small clique of people. These people would control the government, business, and society on a global scale. The good part of having different nations, is that the powerful people have to play off of each other. You cannot directly conquer everyone and directly control them.
What you need is a solid chunk of land as your base of operations and "personal superpower", then you form a "union" of autonomous***** nations/states all united under your religion/culture, your language, and have an education system and media completely owned by you.
Then you make an army out of this union, and a "union governmemt" that holds power on union wide enforcment of laws/regulations, military, currency, and foriegn relations. Along with a universally standardized legal/administrative code and ready acess into state regulation if necessary. Along with a heavily automated beuacracy that uses the finest machines to dish out social programs (which there will be few of save food stamps, shelter, and mandatory retraining).
You also need a ruler that will outlast democracies in order for this type of rule to be viable. Fortunatley censored medical technology combined with future progress means that a ruler could likely live until 200 years, or more since 200 years from now may have cyborgs walking around that live even longer.
I don't want eternal peace.
