These sorts of things-- Jesus that tells his followers to buy swords and claim he has come to start a revolution-- are remnants of the original text/s, which were Jewish tracts about a Messiah that would free them from the occupying Roman goyim.

The "Tale of the Syrophonecian Woman" is especially instructive. And it's not in John. You've cited it as a different story. The Syrophonecian Woman only appears in the chronologically first written two Gospels, Mark 7: 26 and Matthew 15:21.

She is a Hellenized Phonecian. She is not a Jew. The "bread" is Jesus' teaching and healing ability, while "children" are the Children of Israel and the "dogs" are the goyim. This is probably where the original version of the story stopped. When the woman cries that she is a good goyim he agrees to heal her child, and this was probably added later by a Jew concerned with how goyim would react if they saw how these Jews felt about them.

This passage comes probably a decade or two after the one in Mark. Matthew, probably a Hellenized Jew himself, has changed the woman from a Hellenized Phonecian into a "Cannanite". This tale then disappears and is not in either Luke or John, which come a few decades later. Why did it disappear? Because it didn't look good. By that time Christianity had been transformed by exactly this kind of lying redaction and had become a religion exclusively for good goyim.

The key is to not take quotes out of context but look at the whole New Testament and then get a picture.
