Explain me something. People are always saying: >muh, if the ten richest people on earth donated 1% of their wealth, they could end the world hunger >muh, if america donated the money from their defense budget, they could also end world hunger
People think in solving the short term problem. You keep feeding them over and over again, and not teaching them to be self sustainable. And it's a never ending cycle. You feed them, they reproduce, you need to feed more people, they reproduce...
tbqh food etc. aid to the thirld world countries was a mistake
Leo Morris
If we exterminated all the Africans we could end world hunger on not very much money, forever, but nobody gets behind me on that one.
Samuel Williams
You misunderstand. Its not about actually solving the problem. Its pretending to care about a problem so that you can look good to other people.
Samuel Smith
if the rich donated 1% of their wealth there would be more hunger. they are proping up systems and people that dont work,
Blake Diaz
If you'd bothered to do any research you'd know that poverty levels have decreased quite dramatically thanks to foreign aid and the population does not then boom and create the problem again.

We would also safe more lives this way. If we just genocided all of africa during colonialism, we'd have saved biillions of kids from hunger, getting raped and HIV. And the best thing is, it seems like things won't get any better any time soon.
Samuel Gomez
If we taught them how to be self-sustainable then their countries would stabilise. Our governments don't want that.
If we taught them to be self-sufficient, 'charity' heads wouldn't be getting their pockets lined with easy money. Charities don't want that to stop.

What's the current population of Ethiopia? what was the population of Ethiopia in 1985? how has that number changed, in a country that supposedly was in a massive famine? what is sustaining them now?
Jonathan Young
When we give them food they reproduce even more and have less infant/child deaths, which only makes the hunger problem worse.
Wyatt Ramirez
If you've got a point to make then make it.
Camden Reed
Nope. If you donate enough money to end world hunger those """people""" would simply reproduce that much more and be in the exact same situation only non-empowered to ever help themselves.
Austin Hernandez
Found it.

Why do we have to teach them? Are they too fucking stupid to figure it out like we did? If so, why help them?
Joshua Thomas
i must've gone over your stupid paki head, >if you bothered to do any research i gave you a place to start, but you need it spelled out... The population of Ethiopia has doubled since 1985, but they supposedly were in the midst of a famine and everybody was starving to death. How does the population double when everyone is starving? we gave them enough food to double their number, now there are twice as many starving Ethiopians that expect us to feed them
Isaac Brown
Europe suffered way worse than them. Difference is that we evolved

AT LEAST 50 cents of every dollar donated goes directly into the pocket of corrupt governments.
In the wake of the 2004 Tsunami Oxfam shipped 25 four-wheel drive trucks to Sri Lanka. The government impounded all of them and demanded 300% import duty. Over one month went by until Oxfam caved in and paid 1 Million pound to get the trucks released, thousands of people died until then because supplies couldn't get to them in time. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4103054.stm
This story repeats itself in every single time development aid is given. The poorest people in the world are being held hostage by their corrupt dictators, who know fully well that the cucked western nations will let them line their pockets for the privilege of feeding their hostages.
There are only two real ways to help the third world: 1. Have foreign aid held in escrow until demands for regime change or policy improvements are met. 2. Stop foreign aid all together and let the dictators get eaten by their subjects.

They could end world hunger for a day. And rise crime and mortality rates for a day too.
Chase Martin
The only way to solve Africa's hunger is to do nothing at all.
Giving aid creates a perpetual cycle of expecting gibs and high birth rates. So much so that there are kids in Africa named World Food Program (read it in the book 40 chances).
Give it time and the population will reach a balance between supply and demand of food.
>but we must teach africans! No. Nogs are too stupid to actually work with a long term goal in mind.
Ryder Powell
Oh user, that's logical, liberals can't into simple cause and effect logic.
