Gravity has nothing to do with the experiment. It doesn't matter if the the gyro is accelerating (linearly) or not. You can perform the experiment in any conditions you want and you'll still get the same result. Are you being serious or are you addicted to (you)s?

Alternatively the Earth IS round, but the section that we're able to explore is a small flat section.
