This is not "dabbing" as the kids call it. It is a coded Masonic gesture with very specific and dire significance.
I understand a rap group called Migos is credited with popularizing this pantomime among the youth. I am tempted to look deeper into their work because they appear to be carrying on the tradition of Chicago style youth gangs in that they somehow access and co-opt Masonic ritual and traditions known only to initiates. The GDs are quite literally a rogue Lodge that recruits fatherless children and effectively becomes their surrogate. I suspect this Migos rap group is somehow affiliated.
Just know that if you're "dabbing" in the presence of a Master Mason you may find yourself in a very uncomfortable situation. Then again, if you somehow randomly luck out and provide the correct pass to your "brother's" challenge you could find yourself commanding a complete stranger as a subordinate.
