Gabitalism and ameriga win again. Was NASA even involved at all here?

This music's kinda hot

...

fake hologram shit

I don't think so, no

See this shit here is why capitalism works. Open shit up to the free market and watch competition not only drive costs down, but push technology further.

We don't have the soviets to compete with any more, so instead we're letting corporations duke it out.

Uh yes? NASA and SpaceX work incredibly closely. No denying the public benefits of government projects such as NASA either unless you're retarded; although the the price drop of privatization is crazy

>spherecucks will eat this up

WE ARE BEING INVADED MAYDAY MAYDAY.
I CONFIRM 10 JETS FLEW OVER MY HOUSE

GUYS GUYS GUYS

There's a japanese rocket set to launch later today at 6:30 ET.

Anyone have a livestream?

Didn't they have some kind of rocket delivering them that's supposed to land again on Earth, will it happen or did it happen?

Already happened. Bullseyed the landing, it was perfectly executed.

i am lost

explain whats happening

Yeah, it happened during the livestream during stage 1.

They've got video of the landing from the perspective of the rocket.

Nostalgia as fuck man.

Number of satellites blacks have put into space: 0

Yeah, satellite deployment should've been privatized a long time ago.

The free market doesn't work for super long term investments is the only problem. I'd expect them to perfect rockets but not work on revolutionary new engines.
They have worked together but I'm talking about this launch in particular. It was paid for by a private company to another private company.

bump

....soon....

Seconding request

We FTL soon famalam.

>world's smallest satellite launching vehicle
It's a disguised missile test.

Good Luck rocket-chan senpai desu desu.

for a 4kg warhead? wew

Why is this all of a sudden being posted? What's so important about it?

Musk is an adviser of trump.
SpaceX's last launch exploded, so this one was very important to get right.
Means we're still on track for moon base.

>n i g g e r

Space Travel has huge political implications.

It's obviously world's first surgical-strike missile. Designed to kill just a single person.

>tfw if NASA had funded the Mars Semi-Direct project in 1990 then we could have had humans living on Mars by 2000

17 years later and still not a single footprint on the red planet, shockingly bad progress.

Well who cares about that shit? Muslim outreach is the only reason for NASA. Obviously taxpayer money well spent.

That music is fucking awesome

Anyone know where I can get Test Shot Starfish - Fly By?

NASA lost their touch in the 70s after the Apollo 17 mission and have had plenty of opportunity to touch ground on other worlds but have passed all of them up in favour of cheap low Earth orbit endeavors, SpaceX has a clearer vision and goal, plus Elon Musk is a corporate adviser to Trump, so hopefully his input will be heeded and he'll give SpaceX loadsamoney.
