She's not some great hacker, she just sat there and copied those files onto a CD in front of everyone and then sent the files to Wikileaks. Also, she confessed and apologized and pled guilty. She was never charged with treason and the government said, in court, that the no one died as a result of the leak, so forget that. Also, she was (I think to her credit) a HUGE pain in the ass in prison, demanding and probably about to get a sex change, getting hormone treatment, wearing girly underwear, and trying to kill herself twice. The Army probably begged Obama to release her. Meanwhile, Assange has said he will agree to extradition when Manning is released. That makes Assange Trump's problem. No matter what he does, Trump is going to alienate a lot of people. If he has Assange arrested and prosecuted, he looks like an ungrateful shit. If he declines, he looks weak on NatSec. And if Assange doesn't agree to extradition, he looks like lying Amy Schumer. This is all a mess that Obama dropped in Trump's lap and said "see ya."
