Found the best system there is: Computocracy

Mods please leave this thread alone, it has validity.
I found the idea for the best system there is: The computocracy.
I think this system will be applied in the next 100-200 years.
It will include all states of the earth.
All these states do not have a souvereign government like a prime minister anymore, but only recipients of orders from the central world government who enforce these orders.

The central government will be a giant computer, that calculates all the goods of the earth and determines how much each state gets for its people. There are technicians and politic personal who check the validity of the calculations.
Food, clothes and electronics will be then produced by government factorys and dispensed at government institutions. Water is free and also electricity.
The cost for the maintenance of the computer and the factories will be financed through relatively low taxes.

Find a flaw.

Sauce on your images quote?

I highly doubt he said that.

Even if it is a fact.

Just saved the pic because i like the quote and i think its factual, i don´t care if the sandnigger actually said it. After all he is a sandnigger and a terrorist

Either way the idea doesn't make sense.

Who set the programming for the computer? An (((engineer))) no doubt.

The whole idea is shit.

That's the plot of Metal Gear Solid 4.

Who produces all of these goods?

>Find a flaw.
Elitism
Same problem with communism, everyone is the same, everyone is poor together, everyone is happy together.....except the people running the show, and you have to have people in charge. Without it laws would be meaningless, there must be enforcement.

With a system like this, implying that things like energy and resource acquisition is not an issue, would seem like a somewhat Utopian society. The only problem with this, just like Communism, is that it does not factor in Human nature. Humans strive to be better, better than they once were, better than they are now, and most importantly. Better than everyone else. These "fact checker politician" could easily use there positions of power for control and abuse. Another issue being the computer might make the right decisions, but is that decision ethical? My guess would be sometimes no, it would not be ethical. Imagine a blight that wiped out large amounts of food across the planet. The computer is tasked with deciding who gets what. Some might get more for the benefit of mankind, but at the cost of millions starving at the hands of the computer.

Just my thought on the subject, feel free to comment on it cause is have to admit it is a cool idea. Just don't know if it would actually work irl.

The guys name is Al Bielek. One of his longer interviews he describes a society where the computer "crystals" is in control of nearly everything aside from elites at the top that "built" them.

You could elect fact checking technicians every year, every country provides one or something like that and also do consumer comparisons by different independent organizations from country to country to see if everyone gets treated equally. The politicians / technicians would have to live a more transparent life to prove, that they do not abuse the system to law enforcement, but get a small luxury advantage.

Also, where is the limit to being better than you once were? Technological advancement would still exist, as there would be factories and jobs that concentrate on that matter, so humanity would not be stagnant. But may there not be a limit to what amount of peace and justice we can achieve?

And yes, i think everyone getting equally less would be better than a few millions starving. The programming would of course let the adults get hungry first, rationing the food gradually and also using up emergency food stocks. The weak and sick get also a special treatment but at a certain point, they get less too. Like that, humanity sorts out the strongest and most resilient members of society, ultimately enforcing natural selection.

There would not exist political and racial disturbances, as noone could accuse anyone of oppressing others as the computer would be as rational as possible.

Also, i revoke the tax idea. In this society, there is no money necessary. The producing of goods and the maintenance of the computer, the factories and the law enforcement would be done by the members of society which prove themselves to be fitting for that role according to their achievements in the education system, which would give the students a possibility to chose a specilization field. If too many would want to chose a certain field, a lot would be drawn, but the students would still have the possibility to do "fun" and sophisticated work if they want to. The more you achieve, the more you can chose from.

> financed through relatively low taxes
If you have a centralized athoritatian government, it would likely not have a currency.
If you're proposing a system like this, why not go full retard?
Complete control and subjugation to all peoples of the earth. Genetic superiority for breeding purposes, and state ownership of children.
If you're going to exert control, go big.
Make the currency of society your contributions, and those deemed unproductive are euthanized, or sterilized.

WOAH

If that is true, i must be some kind of visionary. I doubt it though, he probably gave it a good thought and came up with this as an idea for an ideal system too.

If you listen to ALL his stuff, he explains it was a socialistic system. However because the computer ran the system there was no corruption so socialism "worked". But eventually because there was no incentive, everyone essentially committed suicide at some point because the computers did everything.

I revoked the tax idea.
Also, i think a tyrannical approach like this would not be recepted very well and potentially cause a revolution. People want to have families with whoever they like, and that would not be a problem.
Everyone who deemed unproductive would just get a shortage of goods as a punishment or maybe get a worse job. If he does not work at all, he will have to face legal consequences and eventually jail. In jail, people would still be forced to work, but with force like dark cells and disgusting food if they don´t like too.

Ok, that seems very unlikely to me. A collective suicide because you literally have to much free time? Must be some attention whore hoaxer.

I don't believe the concept is too far fetched. Similar things have happened in video games. When there is too many "bots" and "freebies" in a video game people tend to "quit". Especially if it becomes too easy. I don't think your idea isn't bad, but I think once we make humans obsolete it will cause problems.

It's essentially a different word for technocracy. Also the idea has already been done by the Zeitgeist Movement, Resource Based Economy, Venus Project, too many to name really. Honestly a better idea would be instead of a one world government to have different decentralized city states run their own computer based governments and then pool their data to a more centralized computer to coordinate things, building from the bottom up instead of the top down, so that you don't get insane computational complexities or impossibilities due to data set sizes.

People will always find things to do. As i mentioned, technoligical advancement would still be enforced by humans, also there are sports, video games (virtual reality), books, schools and seminars, movies, television, travelling and so on. People would maybe become more apathic but the majority would still find happiness. Don´t fall for the ideas of a self declared apocalyptic "prophet".

My brother and I have talked about this at great length.
No matter how good the system is, you'll always have dissenting views and rebellion.
This aspect of the human condition has to be factored in, and dealt with.
Loss of life is inevitable.
The goal should be to unite humanity under a single oppressive and all controlling banner, to move it forward as a species.
After that, move us into the next stage of evolution through scientific advancement. Shed our biological husks, and take on an immortal and vast collective consciousness.
Colonize and conquer our galaxy, local cluster, then our universe. Remake this universe perfect, and in our image. Then move on to other universes to further our evolution.

Ok i don´t know about the technological dimensions but in the end the concept would still be the same, everyone gets treated equally through the rational equations of a computer.

This actually sounds reasonable. Although I think biological humans will never be able to move their consciousness from their body. If anything it will end up with some form of sentient AI that colonizes and conquers the universe.

Well maybe the system would of course need law enforcement with advanced weaponry to defeat dangerous rebellions, but i doubt that too many would be selfish enough to neglect this idea. Also, i don´t know about transhumanism, i think most people would not want to be chipped and have an eye implant and what not, and i doubt that something like the uploading of your consciousness in a machine aka Deus ex Machina would be possible. Maybe it will be a normal part of our existence once, but that is all up to speculation.

The conquering of different galaxies is something i have thought about a long time, and i think it is highly likely as technoligical advancement and the shortening of global resources will make this necessary.

Why would you want everybody to be treated equally? Some people have to do the labor a computer determines is necessary as determined by equations to bring about an outcome. Why should some poor African with an IQ of 70 be treated as equal and given the same outcome as some German physicist who does research into materials science to improve the energy efficiency of the system the computer concerns itself with?

Also, those "rational" equations you talk about are purely subjective and programmed by people with their own subjective views. So it would make more sense for numerous different technologically governed areas to work together based on submitting to a certain set of programmed principles.

Research is already underway to interface the human brain with technology.
Within the next 100 years, we'll be able to upload and download information to/from our brains like computers do.
There is a wide variety of cybernetic research going on, and it's going to change our species dramatically.
The singularity isn't a matter of it, it's a matter of when.
I'd like to see human's get ahead of the curve and control and shape it's destiny. Instead of it happening as a phenomenon.

>incredibly advanced supercomputer that replaces human run government
>humans would be able to understand the calculations it runs

a matter of if it will happen, but when*

The africans can still be farmers and therefore contribute to society. We have to erase niggerdom and genocide is not an option, so we might as well give them the shit-tier jobs because they will not do good in the education /evaluation system.
Equality is necessary to calm and satisfy the public and to not cause an uproar because
>muh oppression
>muh racism

>russian hackers
/thread

Research does not equal success, though. Matrix style skills uploading will remain in the remain of the cinematic, in my opinion. But maybe, we will see who is right, in this life or in a future one.

>central world government
stop right there criminal scum

Have you ever read V for Vendetta?
Before you Anomyloose meme all over me, that is literally the plot

Can tell this guys chatting shit, by that point wall paper would be interactive, his lack of imagination is astounding

>production control
If some factory suddenly heightens their production, it will be recognized and reported. Also, lets say this is a 5 story supercomputer that is basically unhackable due to self-checking antivirus systems

at that point it would be inefficient to keep them around so the computer would probably see no point in doing so and just have them destroyed.

>Teutonic knights
Is there a better looking order?

Yep, typical
>muh timetravel
>muh UFOs
>muh literally seeing God
attention whore

>herp != derp
No, I guess not.
But, given the advancements that have been made, and that there is a serious effort in the field, I'd argue it's only a matter of time.
I'm not talking about Matrix style UL/DL, at least not in the initial stages of the technologies introduction.
From what I understand, the initial stages of the technology will be uploading and downloading of memories.
Which is a very good place to start.

You degenerates.

God gave us free will for a reason.
Our destiny is not to be controlled by a machine.

Stien bro gets it

He couldnt even remember what they called the time travel, just called it hyperspace or some sheet.

We are not talking about a governing A.I. here, but a complex calculation tool. The numbers will be checked by humans to eliminate differing variables. All humans will have the same status, and only the unproductive ones will get a slight shortage of goods -> then a shittier job (farmer, factory worker) -> then jail and forced labor camps if they refuse to work entirely

You basically already have that, your computer is called Merkel.

Also, flaw found:
>There are technicians and politic personal who check the validity of the calculation

In other words: There are people who control the computer and are therefore in power.

If you have free will, why do you still let yourself be controlled by politics and laws? Checkmate christian

Our destiny is to be the machine, to ascend to godhood, and remake the cosmos in our image.
It's likely that we are our own creators, and this is a historic simulation being ran.
There's quite a bit of evidence that our universe is just a simulation running on technology we don't understand yet.

lmao @ that pic, it's supposed to show the Battle on the Ice where the "Europeans" (Teutonic Knights) got wrecked by Alexander Nevsky and all drowned in a lake. Good job Germ.

That'd be silly if we humans literally enslave ourselves to an AI's "sense" of righteousness.

>Romans 6:18
>And, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

So you're basically back to status quo. Elected people who control the work of the executing "machine". Plus some transparency utopia brabble. Where's the difference to the current system with the elected legislative that "control" the machine (-> government / chancellor)?

This is where I think the Al Bielek guy might have actually seen something. Essentially someone from Sup Forums is going to create a robot army and a robot government that the worlds countries lose to will decide how the world is ran.

>Programmer Hereditary Monarchy
>Computer only answers to the "King"
>Everyone else is at the mercy of the "elite programmers"

There is a big difference between free market and lobbyism in politics / corrupt politicians, and mere individuals who have to control the functionality of a calculating machine that gives everyone equal amounts of goods, who can not interfere with its calculations if they can not prove that it made a mistake. You should read this thread again if you do not see that.

Sorry, but imo

Congratulations, you just described the government of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Thought it was a good thread, sorry it died.

Yeah most Sup Forumsacks are too busy replying to bait threads. But i can not blame them, that is just the way it is here. It still is a place of truth and red pills.

Watch Psycho Pass

More possible one:

Big enterprises use huge amounts of computation power to make big leaps that would otherwise be impossible to make in short times, this computation power therefore becomes a good that is traded and sold, people, and companies, build computer farms and sell their time to the nterprises.
