any tips on how to fuck with the filters? I'm not used to GIMP yet

not sure, i use photoshop but try using noise filters, brightness and contrast etc

from the tutorial for neon text (gimp)
>filters > blur > gaussian blur (default is 5 and that’s usually fine)
>colors > curves > set channel value to ALPHA
>make line more vertical until the text becomes round
>layer > layer to image size
>filters > alpha to logo > neon
>choose color & set effect size to 23 (effect size depends on size of text, more for big text, less for small text)

Like the figure and the text; the background doesn't really fit though to my eye. Something with a little less depth maybe? Clashes with the flatness of the figure and text in a weird way.

I have an Idea, but I'm pretty bad at this kind of thing. My Idea was that it would be pic related and the "men of the west" in text across the sky thingy. So if some talented soul wants to make that the do it.

Excellent. Probably needs a bit of context first so here it is; I'm toying with the idea of developing a fashwave themed game based around RWDS/modern degeneracy and the like. It'd be a Mario-esqu side-scroller where you're required to save the princess, but the princess is an embodiment of Western civilisation. On your journey you have to fight off different monsters and bosses like homos, Muslims, Jews, trannies, roasties and the like and you collect a series of sidekicks throughout the game including Enoch, Hitler and so on who can help you fight bosses.

I'd really love to see a mock up of this, of a still of how the game might look in action, to get the creative juices flowing.
