Well, you're speaking about a civilization that dates back to 753BC. There are factors that were formed in the end of the Republic in 27 BC that could contribute to the Fall of Rome 400 years ago.

You could name obvious factors like Diocletian splitting Rome into 4, with 2 Augustus' and Two Caesars, with two Senates. Or the Edict of Caracalla which offered citizenship to everybody in the Empire. Or the ever lasting civil wars. But I guess it was the Jews.

Sure I'll correct you. First of all Rome under Constatine and his Christian values were some of the best times the Roman Empire had. Second, the races typically lived in their own providence. They would be left alone and leave Rome alone after paying the tithe. Very little intermixing happened really, except for a few cases such as Cleopatra, Caesar and Anthony. Third it was mostly degeneracy that destroyed Rome. How did this degeneracy happen? Well the Patricians, Senators and Emperors stopped giving a shit about the citizens. Now these people of power were typically not celtic or moorish barbarians. They were typically native roman. It was Romans who dug their own grave, and to claim it was "teh jews" is a gross over simplification of the actual issues Rome faced. It was better orchestrated than Merkel has done. Under the Edict of Caracalla, those citizens didn't have the right to live on the Italian peninsula and that was still restricted to people with a form of "The Latin Right," a different form of citizenship.

There is a whole history behind it, involving famines in Rome, and several ideas to raise revenue. The Edict of Caracalla was originally a very bad idea to raise money for the state through taxes. There were limitations on where people could settle and what who could marry whom (marriages to non-Roman citizens weren't seen as legal), but you knew none of that. You just said "Jews."
