Culture has always been dynamic and ever changing. Culturally speaking, warrior God worshipping Vikings and Saxons have little in common with modern Scandinavians/Germanics. Romans have little in common with modern Italians. Culture changes generation by generation too

Seriously about that, don't try to dwell on abstract concepts too much. Your brain literally can't handle it yet. I used to think I was advancing deeper modes of thought when I was your age. But I was just becoming more cynical and Machiavellian.

To the point where I actually started to feel a deeper sense of empathy, I dropped the "we're all the same stuff" and started to find contempt for people who did so. It sounds either immature or stupid LARPing-tier manipulation. Real, actual empathy killed my libertarian, love and peace bullshit.

If you want to read some interesting stuff and save yourself a few years of misery and despair, check out Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius. Stoicism may really help you at this point to advance your life and how you perform in it. It's made for people who are too depressed to live and too intelligent for self-deception.

Nobody takes issue with the fact that I exist purely because of my skin colour.

I don't ever wonder if something bad happened to me because someone else took issue with my race (yes I know it could still potentially happen, but I literally never worry that it might or has).

The history of my country of residence, country of birth and genealogical ancestors is well-recorded and filled with stories of heroes, villians, glory, infamy, tribulation and triumph. I can aspire to be like the heroes because I know that they were once pretty much like me.

When I look around at grand old buildings, see beautiful pre-modern art, listen to classical music that makes my neck bristle or witness the function of my society according to the rule of law, I know that these masterpieces and institutions were built by people who share my genes - I have the capacity to achieve great things like they did, lying dormant in my blood.

Last, but not least, if a woman takes an interest in me I know it's not just because I'm exotic. and given that it sure as shit isn't because I'm rich, I know she must like my body or my brain.

In summary, it's just comfy to be white. I know that any problems I have are probably my fault and I can fix them. It feels good.

It is, dare I say it, a privilege.
