The plane he was in fell into the sea today, leaving at least four dead, including himself.
First, I have to say that his was in the "Lavajato" case, and about to homologate the delation of more than 200 politicians, implying even the president, Michel Temer.
The plane crashed under suspicious circunstances, his family had already been threatened and a delegate from the federal police said that they need to investigate.
That is not the first "accident" like this, in 2014 the presidential candidate, Eduardo Campos, died in another plane crash that was never been explained.
Last year a business man from Vale also died in the same way.

The guy who was killed was a supreme Court judge and the one who was responsible to accept or not more than 200 denounces involving a shitload of politicians in corruption schemes. These denounces were made by several businessmen during last year and supposedly involve even the president. With his dead, the whole investigation will be postponed until the president indicates a new supreme judge - which most certainly will end it.
