the native aboriginal people of japan were white, they are still around today in some areas, some are mixed and some are still white looking.
these people are called the Ainu people in japan and likely came from the north long before the japanese arrived in japan. If modern japanese mixed with a huge population of ainu and then inbred for a long time, it might explain why japanese people look whiter than other asians in facial structure and color.
