I don't expect the purge to happen overnight. Or next week, next month, or even next year
What I DO expect and hope for is that he'll begin laying the groundwork, getting rid of people in the administration that aren't absolutely loyal, or who will balk at the work to come. Cleaning a nation is like making sausage--it needs a strong stomach and for the exact same reason.
I also expect, and anticipate, that they will begin laying the basic groundwork for some form of compartmentalization of the media. In places where national cleaning and societal optimization will be happening, it will be necessary to have some sort of media blackout in place, so that information can be distributed on a "need to know" basis. Having it getting out that an area is being cleaned will only result in needless panic in other parts of the country, even among people who would nominally support it, and it will be necessary to keep the country running relatively smoothly.
After the fact, most of them will be likely okay with it--it's easier to ask forgiveness than ask permission. It's hard to argue with results, after all.
So no, I don't expect it tomorrow. But maybe in a decade, we'll begin seeing a mass-scale societal restructuring, optimization and reorganization
