No reason, and that's whey they offer it. All I have to do is get my great-grandpa's documents and go to the Italian consulate and ask for citizenship. A few months later, if I do it in Italy, or a few years, if I do it in Brazil, and then it's done.
Only reason why I haven't done it is that I'm too lazy to get some of the documents on the places where they're stored. Great-grandpa travelled a lot and was born in a place, married at a another, died at yet another, and so on...
