I have a distinct San Fransisco accent. It's been slowly declining since SF became the place to be for dissenters and hippies, but a few of us are still born to it. Here's an example, I don't say: Where are you from? I say Where'reyuh from? Our accent is also a bit like a new york one, with a bit of almost southern inflection. It's going to be a thing of the past in a few decade though.
