>Economic patriotism and ethnonationalism, personified by Trump, seem everywhere ascendant. Transnationalism is yielding to tribalism.
>The existential threat to the West comes, instead, from the South.
>The billion-plus peoples of the Maghreb, Middle East and sub-Sahara, whose numbers are exploding, are moving inexorably toward the Med, coming to occupy the empty places left by an aging and dying Europe, all of whose native-born populations steadily shrink.
Man, Pat's getting bolder in his old age. Is he /ourguy/?
Pat has always been /ourguy/ and he's never really changed his tune or shied away from being blunt.
Logan Ward
Being on the wrong side of history never felt so good.
Nolan Rogers
I own Suicide of a Superpower, and in the chapter titled "The Death of White America", he argues it almost exclusively from a cultural perspective. Of course his views have stayed the same, but here he's explicitly calling himself a white ethno-nationalist and a tribalist.
James James
Pat has been /ourguy/ since before most of us were born.
I'm reading Death of the West at the moment, it's an incredibly redpilled read.
Grayson Kelly
>coming to occupy the empty places left by an aging and dying Europe, all of whose native-born populations steadily shrink. reee how do we fix this without importing millions of subhumans
>offer huge baby bonuses >become national socialists
Owen Wilson
Have you not been reading his shit? This article is actually tame for him.
He wrote one laying out the case that Hitler didn't want to start a war and conquer Europe that was basically /HitlerDidNothingWrong/
Grayson Thompson
It's all just code, though. He wrote Death of the West in 2005 and the chapters on global race projections might as well have come straight from VDare. Probably he's being less opaque than before but I don't think his positions have ever changed.
Samuel Lopez
is it really economics that is causing fertility to drop? We were booming in the 90s and there was no raise in fertility. Being a mother seems to be extremely low status.
Lincoln Richardson
Pat's always been top-tier.
He's consistent, but he's had to tread a very fine line. He uploaded a column a few weeks back saying that the Alt-Right wasn't his thing, or something along those lines. But, he wrote "Churchill, Hitler and the Unnecessary War" and has found himself mixed up with Holocaust deniers a couple of times.
I'm not saying that Pat is a closeted NatSoc, but he definitely has some racially tinged views. He just doesn't get into rigid purity spirals, and wants to preach from respectability.
Colton Murphy
its partly women wanting a life in the workforce for whatever reason
you just need to present childbirth as a more likeable alternative somehow
Dominic Ross
I fucking love Pat. Everything he predicted has sadly been becoming true, but if Western society truly does fall this man will be seen as a prophet.
He's a fucking genius and without question /ourguy/
Josiah Bailey
kek this leaf is getting his first true redpill reading Buchanan
If you never want to be normal again read The Death of the West. Do it and you will forever be woke
Kayden Butler
American women have somehow been convinced that joining corporate America is liberation from the toils of being a homemaker. I think Jordan Petersen hit the nail on the head by claiming that the sexual revolution effectively turned women into defective men and vice-versa.
Robert Adams
I'm pretty sure he writes for VDare lol
Kayden Moore
>tfw might never live in a society where people actually fit their biological roles >tfw might at least help take a step towards such a society
Jonathan Perez
Women have genuinely been cucked from living a life of dependency and privlidge to becoming average working slaves. The new economy and feminism did nothing for women but taking their quaint and comfortable lifestyles as housewives and making them get careers they struggle with working.
Buchanan makes the case for this in the Death of the West. It's fucked because women were happier in the 50's when they were housewives too. Less depressed, less suicidal, and more fulfilled as parents.
Gavin Reed
>Man, Pat's getting bolder in his old age. Not really. He said the same thing in 'The Death of the West' in 2002.
Ryan Watson
You might, leaf. We lived in that society only 50 years ago. The sexes denying their natural, biological roles is a very new thing. If we want to survive as a society we need to reverse that
Justin Moore
Society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they'll never know.
Or some shit like that. DEPORT NOW
Hunter Jenkins
Pat is the original guy.
We are all Pat's guys.
Robert Hughes
Treating disease epidemics in Africa - a mistake that may cause extinction of our species. The tumor now grows unabated.
Camden Collins
I like Pat, but how did he miss the fact that Trump is a Zionist surrounded by Jews?
Camden Russell
I love his articles I check them habitually he was /ourguy/ before we existed
Hudson Adams
he's been talking about the Death of the West for decades
Jackson Ortiz
I don't think he missed it. The large Jewish donor class, plus the fear of being perceived as anti-Semitic, makes cozying up to Israel not only important but necessary to be a populist in this country. But if you look at Trump's proposed anti-lobbying legislation, it would actually weaken AIPAC and Israeli influence.
I like Israel well enough, but I agree that we shouldn't kiss their ass or give them any more taxpayer money. But right now, we need to play our cards right if we want to get anything done.
Daniel Smith
>But if you look at Trump's proposed anti-lobbying legislation, it would actually weaken AIPAC and Israeli influence.
They don't need it when they have Jared Kushner whispering in his ear.
Nolan Campbell
We don't have to import anyone, populations fluctuate all the time, the aging population meme is pushed by the rich/globalists to suppress wages and get cheap labour.
Owen Watson
That does raise some concerns. Unfortunately for Trump, he can't trust many Washington insiders either. At least Kushner is family.
