There's a limit to what some people can take. Yes the majority won't start running them down, but some will. People have jobs to get to, families to see. Here people have the right to protest, but they need to have permission from the mayor beforehand(usually no problem), and the mayor selects the square where the protest is to take place. That is how it is done in a cival manner. If protesters go to other places in town or disrupt shit they get arrested.
