Call yourselves the Minutemen (seems to be decided) because the Fallout connection and the US history connection, but also because it provides an endless source for memes while not being too edgy.
Make a simple but memorable logo, say like the Minutemen logo from FO4 (not suggesting you use that one though), and avoid any references to fascism because that's the precise moment you become a stereotype for people to strawman.
Use this slogan from because it accurately outlines the purpose, it sounds good, and because it has an innate meme relevance.
Worry about the finer aspects later, like putting /fit/ in charge of PT squats.

Logistically, yes they do. Do you think Trump is literally going to clean up trash from protests or somehow make the police invulnerable to rocks being thrown at them during protests? Previously I was opposed to yellow because of its association with libertarianism, but now that I think of it the yellow symbolizes respect for property rights which is precisely the opposite of antifa (pro-communism, pro "anarchy" in the socialist sense, anti-property-rights)

Don't use the color red in main for any logo/flag. Red is an aggressive color, and it'll make people instinctually draw a connection between that logo/flag and the Nazi flag, which means endless straw-manning.
Use the color blue as a primary, or some variation of blue. It's a friendly color, matches well with other friendly colors like white (and yellow, if WW2 propaganda yellow), and has a more peaceful ocean-like vibe.
It's why the wank stains at the EU/Nato love using it, and why it works so well on a subconscious level.

Under Trump, protests will be dealt with correctly, unlike with Obama. They already charged over 200 of the inauguration antifa idiots who trashed part of DC with Felony Rioting, which carries a 10 year sentence. When they do the same during the next BLM riot, that shit will cease immediately.
Let the police handle them, it will be much more effective and won't raise any legal issues.
