What do you think idolatry is?

t. Papist

>cuck religion demands subjugation to globalism
No shit.

>idolatry is a sin
>calls Jesus: God.

Through art, we cultivate a reflection of our desires. Is it sinful to create art that reflects our love for God? No, it isn't, because it does not distract us away from God. It is fruitful, and therefore it is not a transgression.

No icon of Christ is sin, though one may use an icon of Christ to create sin.

When you lrn2Trinity, then your kind will finally be released from the curse that is born through your treason.

How then does nationalism, even ethnic nationalism, become idolatry?

The entire purpose of the Great Commission is to create a global society.

I am sorry you are still such a novice. Maybe one day you will understand. I will pray for you.

What treason? It is the early Christians which put words in Jesus' mouth which he did not say "I am God."

why do I have to learn difficult theoretical stuff to understand god when he simply appears in a burning bush?

Friendly reminder that idolatry is a made up sin from a made up religion that needs to make competitors illegal since it can't compete logically with them

>sin
lol

Because it glorifies nations of this world, typically results to glorification of worldly leaders, and divides man's love of Christ and the Holy Spirit.

The Kingdom of God isn't of this world, but it's IN this world

Because it glorifies your people instead of God. Your people don't matter, only worshipping God matters.

So you'd be fine not having nations and just letting Muslims come into Christian areas and outbreed and kill them and making Islam lord over the world or at least over Christianity since it's a stronger religion which has done so repeatedly in the past.

But floods of shitskins definitely does a lot to turn people away from God

debate these digits

...

You know internationalism and anti-nationalism's biggest advocates have always been Jews. Not exactly the type of people known for venerating your god or promoting respect for him throughout society. Generally nationalism gets rid of or drives them away and you have a more traditional society afterwards which respects your cultural religious practices more instead of shitting on them like the current media and societal nexus controlled by them.

your theology is wrong kiddo. stop bowing to saracens..

Friendly reminder that most of Christianity's "competitors" were Roman pagan cults as well as Judaism, and to be frank Christianity is a lot more relaxed on the issue of idolatry than Judaism is.

>It glorifies
>The want to protect your people and their identity and to strengthen them and their resolve is glorifying

Your stupidity makes Pentacostals seem reasonable.

Islamic pan-nationalism is not idolatry.

Try again.

>and divides man's love of Christ and the Holy Spirit.
>"You shall spread the word of god to all NATIONS of the world"

> Christianity is a lot more relaxed on idolatry than Judaism is.
Maybe historically but most Ashkenazi Jews don't even believe in God or the religious aspects of Judaism.

Love of country, ie patriotism is fine, which in all honesty is what a ton of this "nationalism" has been.

ur wrong :^)

Jews are the most nationalist cunts in the world. The problem with internationalism is that is Jew-controlled. But the idea of Universalism (Catholic) is Christian.

Nice trolling bro 9/10

Except Cathocucks are not the only Christians.

Why did the apostle Paul have Roman citizenship and why did he invoke it when he was charged with crimes?

Checkmate.

Am I worshiping my nation above Jesus...no?
Can I have passion for my country and the needs of my people here just like Jesus did with the Brew etc. Yes

What are you basing your opinion from?
The bible?

I know you're not just trolling, neither i am
I just find it hard to believe that you ponder about many things, except the veracity of a book alone

Reminder that Jesus also loved his country and was so happy to see Jerusalem that he shed tears a bit

You would just end up arguing for a one world government or complete anarchy in that case. "Idolatry" needs some context in the fact that Pagans worshipped literal idols of gods. As in physical shrines. This is what idols and graven images referred to. The old testament law was all about differentiating the jews from the dominant pagan tribes.

I agree its sinful to lose oneself in the culture of man and forget god, but patriotism is in a different realm than religious devotion. You're grasping at straws. Loving your country is perfectly christian.

Yeah who could forget how Jews were almost entirely the leaders of international socialist and communist movements throughout Europe in the 20th century or how they were almost the entirety of Bolshevik communism and communist internationalism thereafter and even now continue to advocate for open borders and the tear down of traditional moral and cultural norms in favor of muh progressivism.

Also stop with this idea that Christian Universalism is not compatible with the concept of nations, Jesus explicitly said to go spread his word to the nations, the Catholic Church has always realized that each cultural group of people has its own customs and culture and practices Christianity and its own unique way, that doesn't mean that you just tear down borders and peoples entirely and we destroy our separate cultures.

Explain the nation of Israel then.

can someone tell me what hes doing with his right hand? was it that called? all the icons do it too

>and divides man's love
Love cannot be "divided". If I love my wife, my mother, my children do I love God any less?

by that rationale, even the jews are damned thanks to the existence of a jewish nationalist ethnostate

'Render unto Caesar' seems to lend some support to nationalism well enough. Sorry, Jesus.

In what way is Nationalism idoltary? Nationalism is a recognition of ones own identity, ones own people. It does not dictate that the nation be placed before God

iconreader.wordpress.com/2011/05/26/what-does-this-hand-gesture-mean-in-icons/

Greeks and Romans had lots of hand gestures to supplement their spoken language. This sign in particular is used as a blessing in their time.

>If I love my wife, my mother, my children do I love God any less?
Yes, Jesus explicitly said as much.

We're all sinners OP. I don't hold nationalism above God. Nothing to debate.

That's why it's One Nation, Under God. We don't hold any other idols besides God.
