Farmers Feed Skittles to Cows?

Why is this allowed, Sup Forums?

sciencealert.com/us-farmers-have-been-caught-feeding-red-skittles-to-their-cattle

---

Meanwhile, Sheriff Schmidt told the media he’d been in contact with a local farmer, who had explained the practice of using discarded Skittles as cattle feed, but the farmer’s identity - and information on whether or not his farm uses Skittles - has been withheld.

A Mars spokesperson then came out and confirmed that the red sludge on the road really was a bunch of Skittles that didn’t make the grade for human consumption - hence the lack of "S" the Sheriff observed.

"Linda Kurtz, a corporate environmental manager at Mars, said the company sells unused candies and ingredients to processors that incorporate them with other materials to make animal feed. She said Mars does not sell directly to farmers, and its procedures follow Food and Drug Administration regulations.

Kurtz said Mars determined the spilled Skittles came from its plant in Yorkville, Illinois, which does not sell products for animal feed. The other US plant that makes Skittles, in Waco, Texas, sells to a local processor that melts them down into syrup."

>even cows are getting redpilled

truly best timeline

Then ayyys eat them and get redpilled. Then they come and BTFO ((((them))))

No way that's skittles. This is definitely just nutrition supplements or something along those lines.

This article is absolute BS and do not trust it. Skittles are far too expensive for feed.

>its cheaper than corn
bullshit. no its not.

AP is reporting it too though.

Why red Skittles? Is this some kind of autism

It says they were rejected for human consumption.

Question, why is USA such a third world country when it comes to food ? Their meat is full of hormones and their banned substances are only a dozen. Compare that to EU where hormones are prohibited and we have like thousands of banned substances.

We have more freedom than you?
>spain
>white

Making skittles isn't cheaper, buying the defective ones are.

When I was a kid there was a bar down the block that sold these enormous bags of candy for like 10 cents half kilo bag. Turns out they were some rejected batches/not for human consumption lel, they also sold single cigarettes to minors. those were the times

not to mention they don't have double cream there, and the milk is that shitty UHT stuff that tastes like ass...and their chocolate is merely chemicals that feel and taste like chocolate, with minimal cocoa content

They do make some nice cheese spread though, salt fat and grease, what more do you want?

It would fatten them up, make milk sweeter. Maybe diebtic cows.

We have double cream. Its called half and half.

Our milk is pretty much stuck as it is from all the regulation. But you can't say we just have one general type of chocolate. We have real good food variety for most things.

Those arguments really razzle my jazzles. Europoors only see: Hershey's chocolate, McDonalds, American Cheese Singles, and huge bottles of soda. If we cared enough about them, I'm sure we could cherrypick the lowest common denominator foodstuffs from their countries.

Because we want our youth to grow up as androdgenous as possible. Just look at all the sickley xir's running around all full of piss angry with no real understanding of why theyre balding with gyno at 12. Explains a lot really, must be terrible being so confused

Because americans are cattle. Oy Vey.

>full of hormones
another retarded Yuro who does not understand basic science

>UHT stuff
no, UHT milk is barely sold in NA. UHT milk is a Continental European thing

muricans and canadians trying to sell us crap, like always
eat you shit and stop trying to convince us that shit is good
fucking kikes

bump

dumb French nigger
Fuck off communist

Kek underrated

There was just an article on the news about farmers feeding candy to their cows a nutritionist supporting it as long as it's not more than 4% of the whole of the diet and mixed with traditional feeds like hay. It's also supposed to up milk production due to the sugar of the candy. Then a couple days later there was a story about a load of red Skittles that dropped on the highway in Wisconsin

No they aren't. Associated Press is ap.org

This is fake news, chocolate is FAR more expensive than corn.

Some real brawndo shit. Kinda curious as to whether diabetic cows make sweet milk.

There's no chocolate in skittles. Corn syrup is cheap.

isn't there a saying 'you are what you eat'?
does this mean american cows taste like skittles?

>chocolate is FAR more expensive than corn
kys you dumb leaf
