Car Ownership

Taking into consideration the current and upcoming gas prices, interest rates and other costs incurred by owning a car(maintenance, insurance, etc) which age is the "wizard" equivalent of NOT having a car for an average US citizen? When did you get your first car, if ever? Did you finance it yourself or get a loan from your parents? Was it a gift? Are you a public transportation pleb?

It was a gift of a beat up E36. Can probably afford a new BMW now but fuckit I'm sticking to her.

I'm 25 and own four vehicles and will be buying two more come spring time.

>Not owning at least two cars
What are you guys even doing with your life?

Forgot to answer OP's question, bought my first car when I was 18 and second one when I was 20. Everything paid for by myself because my parents don't understand my hobby.

I'm not one of those anti-wealth faggots and I believe that everyone has the right to spend their hard earned money however they want but I'm intrigued on what motivates people to have more than two cars if they're single, I mean there are way better investments unless your goal is to be able to say you own X amounts of cars for the fuck of it

There is a device that solves the problems of car ownership in large cities.

Gentlemen, may I present, the motorcycle.

Bought my first vehicle when I was 17 with money my grandfather left me.
Damn thing still runs.
If you're 23 and don't own a vehicle
(own as in it's yours not financed)
you might as well move back in with mom and dad.

Because cars are the only things that truly make me happy in life. I love driving to car shows on a summer evening and chatting with people.

You sound like a fag. Normal people don't own more than 2 cars unless they're a millionaire or billionaire.

>cars are the only things that truly make me happy in life

I can't help but feeling sad yet hopeful for you, at least they motivate you to socialize and git mo money fo them ridez
