Teacher Uses Pot in Colorado Legally

Then fails a drug test back at home in Texas. She says she used over Christmas break in Colorado. She resigned but an administrative law judge rules she should not have her license suspended for teaching.

What does Sup Forums think about this case? Its an interesting consequence of having differing state laws on drug use, as is now the case.

Just make it legal all ready

If she works a job where there is a no drug policy and she goes and breaks it, it really is a no brainer.

Kill all potheads. They are the scum of society.

Just legalize throughout the country, Trump's approval ratings would be through the roof.

It is not illegal but it is wrong. drug tests in general for any job where safety is not a concern is wrong as well

It would be the quickest way to destroy the radical left. They would eat their own even more than before fighting the pro/con trump/pot position

I'm surprised this hasn't been an issue before. It's inevitable.

Whose safety is affected by her using on winter break?

Did you read what i said? I said drug testing in a position where safety is not a concern is wrong. Testing a teacher would not be necessary, unless it was a post test after an incident of some kind.

Sorry, I guess knee jerk reaction. Maybe Sup Forums is becoming more libertarian?

Make it legal so criminals don't profit from it

Are you kidding me? Leftists would literally stop smoking weed and move onto crack or something....

..hey that's not actually a bad idea.

Can you imagine?
>weed the plant of the fascist white male
>shoot heroin like a true revolutionary

That ice...

/thread

war on drugs was a government shit test.
>will they let us take their rights on the basis that we say it is bad for them, even tho it is obvious what really is going down?
>they don't mind, they also don't mind us raiding apartments and doing random checks
>they are ready to give up their guns
>they are ready to give up their freedom of speech
>they are ready to give up their manlieness
>they are undone

bump

they already use harder drugs than weed

Most drug tests are stupid in that you can test positive for weed weeks after you got high. People that smoke on the job are scum. If you just smoke in the privacy of your own home, who cares. Some testing can tell if you blazed up in the last hour or 2. That would be ideal but is probaby expensive.

No one prosecuted her over her pot smoking in Colorado which was legal. But she should have known her employer's drug testing policies and drug requirements.

Only if she was under the effect of drugs while on the job.

Its not at fucking issue at all -
If Mexico has a drink/driving limit of a bottle of tequilla per gallon of blood? Fine, drive around Tijuana smashed as you like, Barrel back across the border smashed tho? You get done.

She accepted that she works in an area which allows no drugs to be detectable in the system during work hours - she failed that test, shes fucked, she should go work in Colorado. Who I doubt encourage teachers to show up to work still-stoned either, but, nevermind.

Where am I now? What is the Law where I am? Do not break it, whether local or national, got no problem, end of fucking non-discussion, stupid fucking stoners.
