You'd love that, wouldn't you Hans?

It'd be pretty great if they did an under-the-table deal to put minimal effort into their Stoke campaign in return for UKIP not sending any heavyweights to Copeland

Stop Brexit.

Based Lord Pearson, this Lib Dem bellend is off his head.

playerextreme app - it's cheap and plays everything. Call me a shill all you want but it's legitimately great. You can copy and paste it a link to the webms and play reasonably quickly

Reminder: these are the three High Court judges who, together with a plucky third world sheboon, tried to wreck brexit. An EU lobbyist, a Blairite and a gay jew.

Why do you have to use fucking Mosley as your figurehead when he wanted us to leave the Germans alone in WW2?

Reminder that the most significant part of the court ruling was that we don't have to consult with the devolved governments.

Today was actually a good day for Brexiters.

May always has the nuclear option to call a snap election if parliament causes trouble.

really rumbles my jonathans when the BBC report women's sport news and the headline doesn't specify its about women because clearly the importance is the same

It does when that country has had your country in state of pseudo-vassalization for a long period of time and its culture has already done potentially irreparable damage to your own, yes.

Fuck off there if you want to be American.

It was a gamble to stop people voting Ukip. It backfired, but they're still not going to go down without a fight

Morning lads .On the bright side the high court ruling stops devolved assemblies from demanding a veto to brexit

>May always has the nuclear option to call a snap election if parliament causes trouble.

To be honest it wouldn't amaze me if she still secretly wants remain to win and all these court cases are just a way to say she honestly tried her best but was undermined.

Have I missed much?

I don't go around pretending I know how the politics of ummogummo land works, so why do these shit eaters pretend they know how ours works?

...

They do it every time. It's happened at least 5 times since the referendum.

Brexit makes me feel SICK.

We need to stay in the EU and working class people shouldn't be allowed to vote!

nope

They weren't demanding a veto-they couldn't veto it if they wanted. In the case of Scotland, the Sewel convention expects MPs to canvas the view of MSPs before legislating on devolved matters, expressed through a legislative consent motion. This is the crux of the matter, withholding consent is not the same as blocking.

Remember lad, a Somalian farmer with no knowledge of the English language or British history is just as British as a man from Yorkshire that fought in the battle of Britain.

Gwon, I have haven't I

And old people too. Only 16-24 year olds should be allowed to vote.

Same as the US.

(he is saying this because people were praising the US constitution for protecting Americans' personal liberty)

It's been fucking brilliant actually, we properly get some discussion done when you're too busy sat on the pot shitting your guts out. You should get ill more often, it really lightens the mood.

Yeah there was one autist who literally wanted us to become a state

Now there's funny, that's 4 out of 4 of your posts ITT that have been sarcastic bollocks

Increasingly i feel the UK is a very selfish place. More and more it's shown that most people here don't care about others, they distrust others, as long as they have a house and some shitty reality TV to watch, some foreigners to hate on, they are content. Only their life matters, and fuck everyone else, is the UK mantra for the majority of people. They don't care about helping anyone else but themselves. Almost everyone i speak to has a life goal of being a BTL tycoon and charging as much rent as they can get away with for 'extra income'.

And it's not just the people. The government does it too. I just don't want to live in a country that doesn't care about others and only themselves to this extent. The current and past governments have done massive damage to the poor, the disabled, kids coming out of care, views on immigration to name just a few, and their popularity has gone up despite this because they gave people £10 a month more on their pay and have made some moves to get rid of them foreign lot.

They are spoon fed opinions from media owned by less than a handful of people who don't even live here, and they suck it up. Austerity was total bullshit that every serious economist disagreed with, but they did it anyway and lied to us about it till people supported it.
Now that there are so few media, they tend to follow party lines strongly - never in decades of my lifetime have I seen such vitriol and hatred directed at the opposition, i can almost see the tory party hand up the arse of most newspapers these days - nevermind all the murdoch owned stuff as well.

I want my country to be a nice place for everyone to live, but increasingly I feel like i'm totally alone is this opinion. Too many 'i'm alright screw you' people , and not enough compassion. Too many rich elite controlling our media and our political landscape. Too little hope for it ever changing.

Am I the only leave voter that doesn't see a problem with the result from today that parliament need to vote?I cannot see them blocking anthing..

Werr herro thele....

Someone was going to do it. They needed someone to make "Mummy May" look like the good guy fighting for our democratic mandate.

The part that bugs me is that it took seven fucking months for the supreme court to come up with this decision. Seven months to decide to let someone else decide. I understand leaving the EU is a process, but it hasn't even begun yet.

I hate this artificially padded out stuff, how much can the supreme court possibly be doing to take this long to make a decision? And why can't such a huge, globally followed case be moved up in the docket?

Expressing my frustrations with the US supreme court here too.

I moreso meant the last couple of threads. This one was a lot more fun than usual anyway.

>I cannot see them blocking anthing
It is all very well having a popular vote to leave. But Parliament, the legal system, the diplomatic service, the civil service and the BBC are *all* deeply opposed to our exit. They all know that open opposition to the referendum result, of the sort that David Lammy foolishly voiced in June, will get them nowhere. They will just look like bad losers and cheats.

They have learned, with a few exceptions, what Mrs May (for whom politics is a profession without any other aim than survival and success, as far as I can see) realised from the start. That they must say over and over again that Britain *is* leaving the EU. What is more, they must achieve a settlement which can be presented as a British departure.

But like all serious politicians, they know that victories are often only achievable if they are disguised as defeats. Let the other guy (if he is thick) believe he has won. Leave the other guy (if he is clever) free to *claim* he has won, even if he knows in his heart he has lost. But slog away, in the committee rooms and the late-night trades, for what you want. That is why so much can be achieved, in politics as in life, by those who don’t want public credit for their achievements.

t. morality

Yesterday there were a bunch of people literally saying there's point in saying please and thank you to strangers. I blame immigration, it's torn apart our community bonds

No - I voted Leave too.

Those complaining about the Supreme Court judgement are just as bad as those calling for a 2nd referendum.

It shows contempt for our constitution.

Plus, our so-called opposition have said they won't frustrate it. If Parliament were to vote against it, it would probably be dissolved and those MPs would never be elected again, which won't happen since most of them are career politicians.

But Mummy May the undercover National Socialist has already promised the same thing already. Why are you angry?

Fucking hell, Brits are taking this sillytits dimension to another level! XD

Daily reminder that YKTD is a yank

>saying there's point
You mean "saying there's no point" right?

I live in the High Peak in Derbyshire which is like 99% white but it's still true.

>Mummy May the undercover National Socialist

This had better be ironic

Possibly a Welshman, a mutt or a paki

Fucking bus drivers.

>implying it isn't true

Check the archives. That's what everyone was chanting when she got into office.

>99% white
Sure, but how many are local to the area? Down here most locals have been forced to move to towns and cities while the countryside is full of houses that are empty all week as their owners are in London or some other urban shithole.

No I agree in principle as long as remainrs dont use it to blow triggering article 50

>Increasingly i feel the UK is a very selfish place. More and more it's shown that most people here don't care about others........

This could of been written in previous century's.
Nothing changes.

I know, but I thought those people had either left or had long since realised their mistake

>listening to the autists
