This is how a typical middle class woman would have dressed in the 1980s. Why do they now dress like they got raped in a inner city dance club?

Oldfag (GenX) here.

My wife still wears blouses and skirts like that at times.

And my daughters, they have their mothers conservative mindset

>This is how a typical middle class woman would have dressed in the 1980s

Did you spend a lot of time with middle class women in the 80s? Probably not.
What else would make you think this?

Maybe you've been socialized, indoctrinated and brainwashed by television without realizing it.

>And my daughters, they have their mothers conservative mindset
not after they leave the nest

>(GenX)
spending time shitposting on a Mongolian throat singing board

ITT: jealousy

Yeah, they haven't dressed like that since the 60s at least.

I'm 53. Women didn't dress like this in the 80s.

>not after they leave the nest

oldest daughters husband is an Army Ranger. youngest not yet married

bullshit

Post real 80s middle class woman then.

That's what a professional would wear to work with the matching jacket. That's not what most people wore outside work.

It's one of the only sane places on the internet

I'm telling ya, they didn't. The 80s was hairband shit decade. Disco really put the zap on peoples head.

Yes. This and retarded suit jackets with cheese wedges in the shoulders.

Good job man you seem like a good father. Any life advice for a youngin?

The blouse needs to be in a more vibrant color and puffier but the pants is way off the mark.

No it wasn't, 70s maybe

My dad is 54 and he says women dressed like that when he worked at Nintendo in the eighties.

There was a fad for tight black plastic pants at one point in the 80s, although that was more junior high school girls. Can't remember what the teachers were wearing at all. Giant droopy turtlenecks? Something like that.

I'm 28. My mom was a secretary before I was born, and she kept wearing a lot of her 80's stuff into the 90's. Professional women dressed like that for work, but they didn't dress like that at home or during grocery runs.

I remember hating casual social contexts, because everyone dressed like crap. Also, kids were stereotyped as hating formal dress - even then, I recognized Jewish programming.

Even professionals dress like crap these days. Any daughters I have are going to dress like this. They won't know anything but the Bible and Ovid's Metamorphosis and the like, so to them it'll be perfectly normal.

You are truly blessed. Thank you for not squandering the opportunity you had.

Dressing like that depends on being thin, and being thin depends on not having fucking corn syrup in EVERYTHING.

Part of crappy business attire now is standard jewish destruction of standards but part of it is also the obesity epidemic. Hard to get a clean line when the body is mostly sloshing around rolls of fat.

You'd be surprised, pally-wally.
