He wants to revert the internet to 2006?

older image from when net neutrality was first under attack. Still the same concept of paying your ISP to "unlock" or whitelist sites like Sup Forums IF they allow you to visit it at all

This was the one thing I was worried about ,rip Sup Forums

Why would anyone want to use these ISPs? The forces of free market capitalism would correct this.

Free market doesn't work in markets that have a disproportionately high bar to entry. I get what you're saying though.

When you only have one choice of ISP in your area, like millions of americans, you are pretty much fucked and have to take what you can get. Net neutrality was the FCC saying ISPs can't do the type of shit that you see in my pics. New pajeet leader says fuck that, ISPs can do whatever they want. If the ISP in your area decides to make Sup Forums part of a "social package" behind a $10 monthly paywall, they can do that. Or they can just not add it at all, or make it part of a 2GB data limit for any site not giving them a moneyhat, which I think is more likely.

Complete free market is shit and leads to all out corporatism.

Fuck off with this nonsense and educate yourself, seeing as the majority of the media and thought leaders refuse to lend a hand.

>Complete free market is shit and leads to all out corporatism.

...How? Tell us since you seem to know how economics works.

Stop bullshitting.

there is no free market on anything that requires large quantities of finite resources, and there is no free market in any system where an oligarchy has already naturally sprung up, such as with ISP

>linking to the same site with in a minute of each other
>link is (((forbes)))
>can't even view article because of anti-adblock

Really gets my synapses firing.

I use uMatrix and it took me 5 seconds to get it viewable.

Read the article. It delves into the (scant) sources that were used to drive the narrative.

Unclassifying the Internet as a utility opens the internet back up to the same lawsuits that the FCC was facing prior to utility classification. Big ISPs will again be able to sue the FCC for rules they don’t like and will start enacting their own packet favoring algorithms again. Don't tell me this ex-lawyer from (((Verizon))) should be trusted with his vague bullshit.

And the FCC should be trusted because?

I have a job that takes little effort with a big pay, don't give a flying fuck.

Yeah, there's no way he would possibly say one thing and do another!

I don't care anymore.
Let the internet burn.

Didn't say that at all.
It's more than possible.

However the disaster narrative is bullshit.

Package deals like this are the exact reason traditional cable TV is dying in the new generation. No one wants to pay for that, so they get access to Netflix/Hulu/Vudu/HBO etc and watch what they want.

If internet companies try to do cable-style packaging they'll be outmaneuvered in the long run.

...as long as regulations permit new forms of information delivery and aren't lobbied into hell by our current ISP oligarchy.

Where did I say anyone should be trusted? The FCC makes retarded decisions like the set top box plan, that doesn't mean we don't need net neutrality which is a GOOD thing. Pai has been in the FCC for a decade and has made it clear he has a different opinion than the previous chair about how much ISP cock we can fit in our ass. That's what matters. Read the goddamn utility classification rules and lawsuits and realize what you're defending.

>as long as regulations permit new forms of information delivery
Now goyim, why would you need that?

>shit that never will unless government involved

Net neutrality is a meme, it was coined by a man named Tim wu back in 2003 which He suggested metering your internet.

The internet was guided by this ethic a it's dawn en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/End-to-end_principle
NN fags have attribute he end-to-end principle to there meme and cause hysteria about things don't understand.anyone who suggest that "all bits are equal" is retarded about networking and should take fucking g class. Netflix cause this bullshit cause they didn't want to pay there fair share of the bandwidth bill.

This whole conflict leave out the government hand in making this via lo al monopolies and FCC spectrum licensure.

Peter thiel was right, the internet was relatively fine before net neutrality.the problem is government as always.

>"Gamer? We hear you. Unwind, relax and play hard."
Made my fucking skin crawl. Not sure why.

You won't get a lot of replies to this since it betrays most of these faggots beliefs.

Sup Forums was completely against this when that sort of plan came out years ago but now this place is a fucking trump echo chamber full of shills. So anything that doesn't suck trumps cock or is completely negative against trump will hardly get many comments.

They really have to way of trying to make this "seem great" so they won't respond at all.
