The democrats just put a 1 trillion dollar infrastructure bill initiative, pretty much the same bill trump said he wants to do. it was then blocked by republicans.
Also, another fun fact: Obama tried to pass a very similar bill a few years back, when he was president, but republicans blocked him even after a lowered to amount to around 450 billion. it's because repubicans knew it will make obama popular, they would rather have america with poor infrastructure than obama getting popular. that's why flint doesn't have clean water today - because of republicans blocking obama's infrastructure bill

Good. We don't need more spending with our already enormous debt coupled with trump's plan to lower taxes. Not to mention he wants to "build up" our military which we already spend more than all of the 7 leading world powers combined. Seriously look it up for yourself. This was the only thing that kept me from voting him. Majority of his other his policies I like except these.

Obama inherited a terrible deficit from bush, hence why the debt increased so much under him. however, he was still cutting the deficit in half which means obama was good for the debt, see
